Lightning shield gets casted on the unit the shaman is attacking. Set shamans spread from other range units to increase lightning shield value

If Direct Strike had come out earlier, then Warcraft Rumble would have been a very different game. I actually despise current Blizz too much so I'm happy they didn't get to steal this game mode... yet.
I'm going to shock you to the core, but direct strike and as it was called before - desert strike and many other variations were out on warcraft and starcraft for ages now.
@@GarroshYT Actually true when I think about it, since it's at ver. 6 now and I played a SC2 version of this gamemode years before.
Honestly this just proves how little attention Blizzard places on the community, they never learned from DotA.
@@NorthzYT the reality is, these are golden gooses that Blizzard passes up because all of the decisions are made by passionless executives that only have $$$ in their eyes, and they obviously don't play any custom games or do anything fun, they wouldn't know fun even if it hit them.

With FS, Firebolt very good, prioritizes heroes and hits like a truck. Chain lightning is mana intensive and damage is ironically not that great compared to other spells. wolves are good early game if no dispel. Usually never more than 1 rank in wolves.
Correct, though it depends on enemy comp. Still lv1 wolves then never ranking it again is best. Whether or not maxing chain lightning or fire bolt will have to be checked

Found out last week Raiders are a great investment if you are already smashing your 1v1 face-off, 10g per pillage and when you smash that tower your teams bonus gold secures an even greater lead over the other 2 as well. I think you can achieve around 200-300g if its mainly raider damage.
All these people saying they've picked up direct strike after watching you, but the only thing I've picked up watching direct strike so far is saying "ahhwaaa" with a different intonation when a Lich or Dryad dies...

Another fun thing I find with the shade strat, is that the counter to it, the gem of true sight is 140 gold so even more people become aware of the risk you are forcing them to waste 140 gold on top of the extra gold you are stealing from them so it's still a huge plus to you ecnon wise even if they do counter it. XD As the shade is only 75 which is a bargain for three gold mines.

280 starting gold. 5gold per second. You have let's say 105 seconds (with 35 seconds left for production and some quick pondering for hero for wave 2) so 525gold, and that's 25 extra gold left aside. If you win the first round you get some extra gold too. Thus you can always use 3 ghouls at the start or potentially 3 footmen (if you are fast enough at the end to get hero for wave 2)
Of course if the enemy hard commits and doesn't want to have a hero for the second wave you might as well skip wave 1 and rush 2 mines and a hero instead.
This game should include neutral units and creeps. Imagine if you could bring along Goblin Sappers or zeppelins with units you loaded in....or Murlocs.
Actually I played a lot DS-standart in SC2. Eco is a bit different wc3/sc2.
Income:
5 + 0.5*mine + 0.5*if_mid
vs
8 + 0.5*mine + 1*if_mid
Mine cost:
150-200-250-300
vs
150-225-300-375
It looks like mines eco is so broken in wc3. Only 3-4-5-6 waves to pay off the mine. You should put all mines almost everytime! Placing no units for the 1st wave is always OP, because you could countering the enemy non-mine half-known army with -100g cost army is so easy. 10% income growth is also very significant. Conclusion. Devs could half the value of mine and it will be still playable
You forgot that you win the game by destroying their base, not by having more gold tickling down. What matters is how many more units than your opponent your extra mines allow - its much more than 3 waves for you to recover a mine investment, because you lose ground too, losing income with it. There are plenty of heroes and comps that are very early game focused too, making your take even worse.
I can guarantee, 100%, if you go full mines on a 1v1 against a moderately experienced player, you will lose every time.
Conclusion - people that do not know how the game works should not be so opinionated.
I'd like to see Hero rush once. Like, i know it's probably stupid, but it would be fun to see multiple Heroes before 1 is level 6.
I hope you see this, but i genuily see your enjoying this gamemode, and we all are watching you play it dont stop :)

cloak probably better since its also +dmg +initial mana for not much more gold

There's a thing about this map that when any of your army or allies have a unit, in the other side of the map, you would gain 10 golds.
Shade is actually good investment as long as your army is massive to survive, so its a mid-late game minion.
Another thing is that your investment would eventually return after like 40 secs in the other side of the map.

Hello grubby, not gonna lie, seeing you take a 3rd mine before breaking their tower was infuriating :D I feel like generally you are very impatient, taking 3mines, going T3 when you couldnt even kill their towers for the bounty that would allow you to actually go T3 and eventually take a 3rd mine down the road.
