- This is a short list of my best 10 favorite VST plugins to make Dungeon Synth. I've used them on several of my albums.
Most of them are free and I hope they will inspire you to create your own music.
Music used on this video is "The Last Journey of Louis Leroy" = • Dungeon Synth "The Las...

Thanks for your constant support! The Kingdom is Ours... Imagination Never Fails!
Thanks for sharing. Lots of these I have never heard of.
This is interesting. The first time I played with SFZ I made a ds track straight away in a couple of hours without even trying to do it before. I got inspired solely by the sound it produced. Thank you for making this video. Will definitely try some of those vsts
Good luck with your project!
Some great choices here! Xpand!2 is another good one that we're loving right now. You can catch it on sale pretty frequently which makes it pretty inexpensive too.
Thank you Erang for sharing this with your community :) Oatmeal and its random function is a great discovery, I'll give it a try someday ! I like this function because a good musician is always between the artisan and the artist, sometimes modelling the material for a specific purpose and sometimes it is the material that guides the musician ^^
Thanks again for this video. Your knowledge is inspiration for amateur composers like me
Glad if it helps!
Cool, thanks for this
You're welcome
Thank you
i love your music
Thanks!
In the free sample pack you made how do you use them? As they are mp3s and not VST plugins.
thx
I can confirm, that sfz is fantastic. I downloaded an orchestral pack for it and it sounds really good. Ones I also like, are Swamp XT, which makes these really weird ambient sounds. And Fantasi, which is a bit hard to find, but it's got some really nice sounding lo-fi sounds, it's very flexible and you can fit it for pretty much any genre.
But I gotta check out that Oatmeal one, it sounds really cool.
Again, the interesting thing with Oatmeal is the random button. Sounds are really "electronic" but you sometimes end up with very interesting effects.
sorry, may you share the link of SFZ download? I can't find it
which scales are recommended for dungeon synths? thx
Modal and minor scales
could you put up a link for oatmeal since its free? i cant find a working link on web
Hi! I've found a link online that works: www.bestfreeplugins.com/download.php?p=Oatmeal

@@erang-dungeon-synth What vst?
What daw do you use with these vsts?
you should be able to use them with pretty much any DAW I guess
@erang-dungeon-synth it was more a personal question as to what do you specifically use yourself?
ah bah merci bien mec c'est bien très le fort sympathique de ta part.
Would you say a DAW is better than a piece of hardware? I've just got a hardware string machine... Waldorf Streichfett
No : as long as we are creative, the tools don't matter in my opinion
@@erang-dungeon-synth Cool thanks, I'm just making the jump from playing Black Metal to dungeon synth and I've always used hardware. Good to know, thanks.
@@neildmonte8786 Good luck with your project!
@@erang-dungeon-synth thanks! Your stuff is definitely an influence
