- Kurt Russell has many "Proud Dad Moments" when it comes to raising Kate Hudson. Some of the red letter days included him and Goldie Hawn attending Kate's school plays as well as the singing and dancing around she did in her bedroom to 80's songs. He also talks about her talent which earned her an Oscar nomination early in her career, founding Fabletics and her fearlessness.

Bill Hudson has been slut shaming Goldie Hawn for nearly a decade, it doesn't mean it's true. He also called her a manipulative narcissist, but that can't be true because no one would want to work with her, and she's still getting roles and no one who has worked with her has anything bad to say about her. Need proof? Two words: Katherine Heigl.

@@kimmyhawk5466 i agree they should just change their last name, but as for Bill i dunno why they kept his name at all i think it's more to do with Kate not wanting to ride off Kurt's or Goldie's success, but as for her real father it's really easy for us to say they should just do this and that but we don't know the history there, i think there was an interview i saw where Kate said her father wasn't really there for her but Kurt was. they i didn't keep them from Bill but i dunno maybe they just don't interest them not everyone is meant to be a parent even if you are a parent.
kind like just cause some women give birth to children doesn't mean she's a mother though if you think about it, yeah it does mean that at least in my book but how many women who have kids and regret it and treat their kids like shit because of it. well it can go the same thing for i think fathers as well. they may have been part of conception but that's about as far as they are when it comes to fathers.

It takes a deceptive woman to manipulate one man into the place of another one. All Kurt Russell's integrity and ability do not give him the right to usurp the role of Kate's biological father, albeit at Goldie's behest. These moments Kurt describes were stolen from Kate's real father.

@@richardburton5706 Don’t pretend you know everything about the situation there’s so many people involved and we do not know to what extent their biological father is it fault. Maybe Golden Hawn was manipulative to some extent or maybe their biological dad really did decide not to stay involved to the extent that he could’ve we don’t know.
My dad (a construction worker) met Kurt Russell while on a job. Kurt Russell asked him what his favorite movie was and my dad said "Tombstone". Then my dad asked him what his favorite movie was, and he said "Overboard". Dad loves saying that Kurt Russell was the nicest, most humbled celebrity he's ever met, and having worked in LA, he's met plenty.

I once saw him in line to go through security for a late night flight at DFW. He was alone. No entourage. No “Airport Services” folks accompanying/moving him through the process. Just a normal guy doing the normal travel thing. We both nodded, said “Hi”, then went about our business.

I briefly met Kurt and Goldie Hawn at the Hertz Rental Location at JFK in the 1990’s when I was a manager there. It was around a holiday and we were having a bad day, cars were not ready for them nor those of about 20 or 30 other customers. You would think celebrities like them would have a hissy fit, as most of the other people were having. But no, they waited patiently and refused to take a car out of order even though we tried several times to get them to do it. They even told us “don’t worry about it, it’s no big deal, we can wait”. Real class act, those two.
Just think, they didn't arrange for a car service to take them where they needed to go. Rental cars just like the rest of us.
@@Mmmkay10 They probably had a reason, like they were gonna be driving all over? Perhaps they could've taken a car service to the first place, but then they would've been stuck there and they had ten other places to go to, or something like that?
@@Mmmkay10rental cars used to be a lot cheaper than they are today. And taxis were about as expensive then as they are today. And everything wasn't as automated as it is today.

I saw a video of Kate singing to her baby, and almost fell out of my chair. One of the most beautiful, sexy, soulful, AWESOME singing voices I've ever heard. Seriously.

How good are Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn? - They took a quirky little movie like *Overboard* - and made it into an enduring work of art. On paper it shouldn't be so good - but on screen - the two of them bring it to life and made it a funny family classic.
I worked at the coast guard station overboard was filmed at noyo river station while I was their they visit the area often your right it was a little goofy but they made it work

I love Kurt. He is one of the most under rated actors of all time. I remember watching him as a kid (both of us) either on Lost in Space of Gilligan's Island or any of the Disney movies he did as child star. Now seeing him as aged pro is just awesome, makes me proud to have grey hair.

My grandma was married at 17 to my biological granddad. She had my aunt at 18 and my dad at 19. My biological grandpa would drink a lot and gamble away his salary. She had to get money from his mom to get diapers and to be able to feed her kids. She divorced him at 20 and raised my aunt and dad alone until she met my grandpa. He adopted my aunt and my dad and raised them as his own, he never treated them differently than my uncles who were his biological children. That’s a real man and that’s what a dad is!
