The Stainless-Steel Parker Jotter is the perfect EDC pen, its small and light but very durable and will last a life time if you don’t abuse it. The pen is cheap/budget friendly even if you buy it brand new but it writes very well.

My dad bought this parker jotter in 1992 and has used it many times. I’ve had it for around 2 to 3 years now and I love it. So, I bought this stainless steel one to use as an everyday carry pen. I think this is the perfect everyday carry pen.

Hi, Naz !
What you have is a nice vintage parker jotter flighter ballpoint pen MADE IN ENGLAND in 1985 4th quarter (TI) and not in 2005 (T.I)!
In 2005 the parker jotters were MADE IN UK (of course it is the same country) and the cap and the push button had the new (that time ) italic parker logo.
Your jotter may have brass threads on the cap but i‘m not 100% sure as 1985 (some say 1980) was the last year parker produced them.
Since then all jotters have plastic threads on the cap (different click sound also) and they are incompatible with the older ones.
I write all this because I think you will appreciate more this pen you have ,which in my opinion is one of the best and can not be compared with the modern ones sold today.
Hi Ilias,
Thanks so much for pointing that out. When i originally looked at the macro footage it looked like it had the dot. But you're right taking a closer look its TI!! The pen is older than me.
My one has the the plastic threads. I'll look out for the brass thread version if i buy another one.
Thanks again for letting me know 🙏😁
Thanks,
Naz
Pinned your comment so others know the error.
Right, also the package it's easily datable
That’s not true, several colors/finishes have metal threads, primarily the versions with the metal lower barrel (royal blue, waterloo, Kensington red). Not sure about the fully stainless version but probably it too.
@ jimclip
We were talking about the brass threads that there are in the jotter's pen cap not in the barrel ! The pens you mention are modern and have aluminum barrel with aluminum threads in the barrel( not in the cap ). The threads in the cap are made from nylon (plastic).
Parker stopped produce brass threads in the jotter caps in the middle of 1984 .
I was watching a British sitcome from the early 80's and they make a reference to a Parker pen. Implying the character is comfortable financially because he has two parker pens
Thanks for the review. I completely agree with you.
I have a Parker Jotter Original, Royal Blue one, I really love it! ❤️
I bought Parker Jotter in 1997, and I'm using it now. The pen is 26 years old.
how much it was then
i keep watching this video because i love the way you say parker jotter
Nice video, I appreciate the sentimental touch. Maybe review your Glycine Combat Sub next? Cheers!
Thanks for the suggestion, Im supprised you recognised it! Its on my to do list along with the Seiko SKX013, Seiko V158-0BC0 and a vintage Orient 3 Star :)
Very nice collection. I have one all steel Jotter that is made in USA
I have the same burgundy color joter orginal. I got it from my grandpa. It was made in England
nice one 👍👍 and have you experienced any ink flow problem from the refill ?
Hi Rushikesh, thanks for the comment. No I haven't, the only times I had problems was when the ink was running out other than that it worked fine for me. Any Parker style G2 refill will work. Thanks Naz
@@NazAllOut thanks 👍
My dad game me his parker that's all metal with the code IE and I found out that it's from 1984. Also for some reason the pen is thinner than the ones with color that I have but they are new so I don't know.
Jotter is good
Looking around for a Jotter, and can see stainless steel ones, made in france for £8.
I can also see a 2004 Jotter made in the UK for £10... any advice on which to go for?
From your video, it didn't seem like the quality was that different, other than the click.
I recently got the French one. Not as good as my Uk made Jotter. Go for the Uk one!
I know this is a stupid question but eh
Is the button good for fidgeting?
I have one and yeah it feels good for fidgeting because the spring is strong and has a loud clicking sound though it might annoy the people around you but personally idgaf
@@fudanshi62 Ight thx for info
Hopefully the spring would hold if I fidget with it..
Bro I have parker pen but when i was small 6 year old at the year 1982 my dad brought me wilson pen but i dont know wether wilson pen is still producing it.
Young*
@@syedmohdfasihnaqvi155 yes 👍👍👍👍👍
What's Wilson pen ??? , can't find that with Google !!!
It seems they stopped putting date codes on them
Oh no! The date codes made it more appealing to me.
Dude 20 yrs old is not long. I own a Porches design all metal pen which I still use and I've owned it for over 35 yrs.
Nice. Thanks for the comment.
Mine sais « made in ENGLAND IL » what does it mean
IL is the date code and means that was made in the 3rd quarter of the year 1984.
