A lot of people seemed to be in a reading and filming slump, myself included, in November and December... I recently came back to Booktube and reading and enjoying it again! Glad to see a new video from my favourite booktuber ^_^
strange the dreamer was my first read of the year and i loved it! i was nervous going in because i thought i wouldnt love it as much as everyone else but it was so good! I am going to read The Cruel Prince and then im going to jump into Nevernight!! so excited

The Daughter of Smoke and Bone Trilogy by Laini Taylor is AMAZING. I listened to audiobook. The narration and her accents are so fantastic. The story and dialogue between characters is just phenomenal. I haven't read Strange the Dreamer yet, but looking forward to it!

The most vivid for me were the chapters with Kvothe and the felurian 😉 in the Wise Man's Fear. A book that made me cry was The Fate of the Tearling and Night Circus

i also loved the Red rising series so much! read the first two in a couple of days each, when I was totally overwhelmed by exams and stuff actually :)) I am eagerly waiting for the 3rd book to come to my bestie's house since i borrowed the first two from him, keeping up the tradition

Godsgrave and Nevernight were the highlight of 2017 for me. Then I got my husband into them who never reads and he couldn’t put them down. I can’t wait for the third and final book!

I got strange the dreamer for Christmas, however I am very hesitant about Reading it. I am VERY picky with writing styles and I’m scared from what I’ve heard about Lani That I won’t like it 😕 But fingers crossed I’ll be wrong and love it!
I felt a little bit the same about Carry On! I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t my favorite Rainbow Rowell. I think I had very high expectations - so it’s my own fault 😂

Are you accepting ARCs from yet unknown authors? Do you have any rules in receiving those?
Unfortunately I don't have requests open at the moment! I receive some books unsolicited from publishers, and I occasionally request a title myself, but things have been so overwhelming with uni that I haven't wanted to add more pressure and stress.
You have such an interesting book life. Did you ever think about doing videos focused on your work environment? I think that would be really cool and helpful for those of us who would like to get into publishing one day. And will there be another Q&A video?
PS: is there a way to find out when you re-open requests again? I would love to know your thoughts on my novel, it's not published yet, but I'm still searching for a literary agent. So I'm really eager to get some feedback, that's why I would love to know where, how and when you accept requests again ^^
PPS: I'm sorry if I'm being annoying, I just can't believe you answered! You one of most favourite booktubers, so I'm really pumped :D
I do have a plan to post a Q&A video talking about working in publishing, so if there are any specific questions feel free to send my way! I mentioned doing this back when I started, but I wanted to wait a while before doing it so I have a little more experience and knowledge of the industry :)
