    So the Winter is over and you have gained a few pounds, now what? Start with this 7-Day Diet Soup and if you did everything correctly and you did not cheat, then you can expect to lose around 10 to 17 lbs. Yes, that is correct, but you must follow the Plan.
    I have heard about this soup now for a long time because it is what they use to reduce a person's' weight rapidly and safely before surgery. It is safe, but you should only stay on it for the full 7 days. Now if you need some more weight-loss then rest a day or two after doing this diet plan and start again.
    Then you should go back to your normal eating plan by now taking care of what you eat. If you have cravings for your preferred high-fat foods then go ahead and have a "cheat day" but eat all you want but only on one sitting per week. Your cheat day should keep your cravings under control.

    Recipe;
    3 Cups - Fresh tomatoes
    3 Cups - Pasta sauce
    1⁄3 Cup - Tomato paste (1 small jar or can)
    5 - Green onions
    2 Tbsp .- Low-sodium veggie stock
    1 Bunch - Celery & (some) tops
    2 Cups - Fresh green beans
    2 - Red or green bell peppers
    2 Cups - Carrots
    1 Tsp. - Chili powder
    1 Tsp. - Ground cumin
    2 Tsp. - Sweet paprika
    1/2 to 1 Tsp. - Cayenne pepper
    2 Tsp. - Prepared mustard
    1/2 to 2 Tsp. - Ground black pepper

    Directions
    Breakfast - Wholesome cereals with low-fat milk, whole wheat/ 100% rye bread, Coffee, tea, or eat the soup.
    Soup Diet -
    Day #1.
    Eat as much of any fruit you want EXCEPT BANANAS and AVOCATOES.
    Eat only soup and fruit today but eat all you want.

    Day #2.
    All Veggies.
    Fill up on fresh vegetables (salads etc).
    Eat all the soup you want and have a large baked potato with butter at dinner time.
    But NO FRUIT TODAY.

    Day #3.
    Eat all the soup, fruit, and veggies you want, but NO POTATOES.
    If you haven't cheated you will have lost.
    5-7 lbs by tomorrow morning.

    Day #4.
    Bananas and skim milk.
    Eat at least 3 bananas and all the milk you want today.
    Remember, you can have soup anytime you want.

    Day #5.
    Beef and Tomatoes.
    You can have up to 20 ounces of beef or skinless chicken breast and 6 tomatoes in any style you like.
    Remember to eat soup too.

    Day #6.
    Beef and Vegetables.
    Eat all the beef and veggies you want today.
    You can have 2-3 steaks (minimum fat) if you want, with green leafy vegetables.
    But NO POTATOES.
    Don't forget to have soup.

    Brown rice (yes BROWN), unsweetened fruit juice, and veggies today.
    Eat all you want whenever you want and have soup as often as you can.

      Eating a lot of salt can cause your body to retain more water, which can show up on the scale as extra pounds.

    I did this from a Sunday until that coming Saturday & I kid you not ! I lost 10 pounds . Never felt hungry & my blood sugar leveled out . I was so freaken amazed that I went on to take off 35 pounds & my sister followed me & its still off 3 years later . Good luck everyone !!!

      @@ryanjones7543I ate little portions all day & I still eat this soup once a week . You can ad chicken or pork or even steak . Its awesome & it cleans you out for 2 days straight ! Plus after eating it for 7 days the bloating in you're body is gone . Give it two weeks & you are going to feel like a new person !!! Best of luck Ryan ...

    I did this to prove it was B.S. I started this past Monday, July 22. I weighed myself twice to make sure I had the number correct. I was at 240Lbs. I ate this soup every day, two to three times a day. I ate nothing else except a hard-boiled egg and a baked potato for dinner twice during the week. Other than that, just the soup. When I weighed myself this morning, July 27 I weighed in at 228Lbs!
    I checked it twice, so it is correct. I'm making another batch for this coming week. I'll post my results next Saturday.

      Dwayne M - congrats on your weight loss , than you for posting your progress . I’m on day 2 and although it’s been tough I’m still sticking with it . Do you take a week off after the first week ? Also you said your using garlic and ginger is that in the soup . Any help is greatly appreciated! I started at 252 and now at 248 and following this to the T , cardio in the morning and 1 mile per day so far .

      J. Ford weird I didn’t get a notification for a reply. Just seeing this as I’m about to it again. Yes I added fresh minced garlic table spoon and teaspoon ginger before putting the tomatoe/water in. I also took 2 weeks off and maintained the weight eating healthy options for the most part. I also didn’t drink alcohol(helped a lot). I figured with this virus going around and being stuck at home, good time for another cut(also gained 4lbs). Since this is really filling, it will cut the grocery expense and last. Sorry for the late reply.

    Veggie Soup Diet Recipe
    -3 Cups-fresh tomatoes 🍅
    -3 Cups- Pasta sauce
    -1/3 Cup- tomato paste (1small jar or can)
    -5- Green Onions
    -2-Red or Green Bell peppers 🌶
    -2Cups- Carrots 🥕
    -1tsp- Cumin
    -1tsp- Chili Powder
    -2tsp- Paprika
    -1/2 to 1tsp- cayenne pepper
    -2tsp- Prepared Mustard (or Dijon mustard)
    -1/2 to 2tsp- Black Pepper
    -MAKING
    First add the carrots stir couple mins, then add the peppers stir couple mins, then add some of the celery and also leave in some of the leaves of the celery as well stir for a couple of minutes, add one third cup of tomato paste and stir around, add 3cups of fresh sliced tomatoes, and add 2Cups of green beans stir till it’s all mixed. Add 3cups of tomato paste, add as much water as you may think depending on how thick you want your soup. Add 2tsp of Dijon mustard, 1tsp of chilly, 1tsp of cumin, 2tsp of paprika, 1tsp of cayenne pepper, add half a tsp of pepper or a generous amount, add 2tsp of dry veggie stock low sodium, give it a good stir, cover and wait till it reaches a boil, once it’s at a boil give it a good stir, then cover again and set your timer for 30minutes. And absolutely add “NO SALT” this is for you to lose the weight. You can add any generous amount of spices if necessary.
    Diet Directions
    -Day #1.
    Eat as much of any fruit you want EXCEPT BANANAS and AVOCATOES.
    Eat only soup and fruit today but eat all you want.
    -Day #2.
    All Veggies.
    Fill up on fresh vegetables (salads etc).

    It's 2023 I was 210 lbs, I'm now 184 from three batches and feel great lifting weights again at 39, I turn 40 in August. The best shape I've ever been in was at 28, shredded. I'm already close to that. I always come back to this soup. I can see my abs coming in

    To those saying 'this is a starvation diet' or 'you'll gain all the weight back later', there is no reason why you couldn't eat this (or a similar recipe) three or four times a week every week, thereby reducing your calorie intake on an on-going basis.

      And don’t forget another really important thing- regular intake of fresh veggies like this will significantly reduce blood sugar, reverse liver stress and minimise the risk of suffering from lifestyle related cancers, so it’s not only about the here and now. You could be investing in your own future health and longevity. Losing weight reduces the stress on joints, making exercise easier, also encourages lifestyle changes.     The last 2 weeks my throat has been sore and I’ve been coughing non stop and have had a few mild corona virus symptoms. After cooking this soup and adding a little extra cayenne pepper I had took a few bites and I coughed real hard and all the phlegm and whatever else was in my throat came out and honestly my throat feels 100x better!

    Trying this tomorrow in concert with brisk walks on the treadmill for 20-30min every other day. I'm a 38yr old, female, 167lb, 5"4, who never shed much of the pregnancy weight l had gained after age 30.
    Once I found out I was pregnant I made the decision to do whatever I could (with the help of God) to turn my life around after 6 years of surviving an abusive relationship, where I was not able to eat food when hungry, I was isolated from loved ones, as a direct result of escaping I found myself homeless & malnourished throughout my 20s. God truly turned things around so much, that people look at me now & can't believe I lived that life. Praise to God 💕I know I got off topic here, but I thought I'd explain to give perspective... I'll be back to report how this goes 😉 I'm super excited🥳🥰

    3 years later and this still works like magic. It is def hard and takes discipline. I am currently on day 5 ( 20oz beef yay!! ) I have lost 6 lbs and my gf has lost 10lbs.. thank you!! will be trying your other soups and drinks next week!!

    Hea If you want a cream soup puree it in the blender and drink it hot or cold in a bowl or mug. You can get kinda tired of chewing this soup and this just adds a different way to consume it without changing the weight loss outcome 😇😇

      SUPER GREAT IDEA!!! Take it to work in a thermos and drink it throughout the day - yummy in the tummy, cozy at work - while everyone else is eating donuts! My one rule of thumb, and in my life this is crucial: Do not tell anyone you're on a diet, under no circumstsnces, tell no one! They will be able to notice "something" is different about you.....I always shy away from my own spotlight. Pretty soon, you'll fit into those cool jeans that look great with the knee high (or over the knee) hi heel boots!

    I started eating this soup yesterday. I love it! It's spicy and it tastes good without salt. I'm going to make another pot and freeze it for later in the week. I will eat a large bowl of soup in the morning and a large bowl of soup in the evening after my gym workout. I know it works, I tried the cabbage soup diet and that works.

    I literally for the first time in my life followed the diet 5 days and gave up since I only lost two pounds and then gained back in one day. I love his enthusiasm and looks like it worked for other people. Sadly I was so excited. One positive thing I noticed is my skin looked cleaner.

    The more soup you eat the more you lose
    If you want to eat 5 bowls of soup a day it is totally ok
    I personally had 3bowls for the day
    1 for breakfast with 1 grapefruit 2 glasses of water
    1 for lunch with 2 pears 2 glasses of water
    1 for dinner with 1apple 2 glasses of water
    You supposed to drink 8 glasses of water
    That was my first day
    Was pretty full
    Like he says the more soup you eat the more you lose

    I had to come back and comment I was at 250lbs when I started Sunday and by Thursday I was at 239lbs I couldn’t believe it! I am going to make another batch for the following week, I added grated garlic, some ginger and zucchini to mine Thank you so much for this recipe The weight is coming off finally!!!

    I’m on Day 6 of this soup! I have not cheated and have added exercises to my daily routine. I have only lost 4 pounds. I’m very disappointed I havnt lost more but I can feel a difference in my body! I feel lighter and less bloated! Going to finish til the 7th day take a day off and go back at it!

      After you finish the plan, rest a couple of days and start again. Drink plenty of water, exercise, more and eat more of the soup. As per breakfast, anything that is light but no banana except on the plan. Please keep us up to date, I know you can do it ...:)

I have done this plan before with great success but I never noticed that we get to eat anything other than what’s allowed on each day of the plan? So do we eat cereal, or toast for breakfast every day of the 7 days? What’s the portion size and do we get to use butter on the toast? 😊

    Making a similar soup, but with cabbage. (no beans or carrots). Lost 6 lbs in 3 days. Last time I made the soup i lost 11 lbs in a week (and i only ate the soup, nothing else the diet calls for).
    Next time I make soup, i'm going to give this version a try. Will be nice to change it up a little every now and then.

      @@rizz1088 Try soaking cabbage in 🍎 cider vinegar or clear.. Just 2 or 3 teaspoons cover cabbage in water for half hour. This has always worked for my family.

    I tried this for a week and lost 8.8 pounds, I wasn’t starving myself instead just having nutritional soup, it’s really good way to detox yourself.

      But there were some days where I was just hungrier than others so I’d eat 4 times or more

    Whhaattt!! I can’t believe it! I started this diet the day after thanksgiving and in 2 days 7lbs are gone! I’m so happy it’s like Thanksgiving dinner never happened! I’m excited to see how this does w the rest of my fat that has been hanging around for years lol. Also day 2 is large buttery potato day & I thoroughly enjoyed that! It also makes you do #2 so be prepared my friends!!

      A pound of body fat is equivalent to about ~3600 "calories". There is no way your body in two days expended 7 lb x 3600 calories/lb = 25,200 calories. The body weight you lost was probably more like 0.5-1 pound fat and 6-6..5 pounds of body water. The effect of losing body water is dependent on reduced Na in the two preceeding days of diet.

    I started this last sunday afternoon, I noted my weight , I’m ate this soup when I’m hungry , I did little bit cheat from Monday , I ate one cookie that I’m not controlled , today morning I ate soup along with omelet without salt , and today evening I checked my weight I lost 3 pounds , i completed 3 days , i think this diet is working for me , I will update you if I’m not skip this plan , thank you so much 🙏

    I am eating the soup as I type. Day 1. I will update at the end of the week....UPDATE: Both my husband and I did the soup diet. First of all, I am having major trouble losing weight due to hormone issues. I lost 5 pounds from this soup and am happy about that. My husband is a diabetic and had to modify a bit by adding small amounts of whole grains each day in order to control his diabetes. He lost 9 pounds. The soup was really good and the plan was easy to follow. We were glad when the day for meat arrived lol. Would do again.

    I've done this twice. First time was in Nov 2019, I was 191lbs and got to 181lbs in a week. I then used a calorie counting app over Christmas and slowly got down to 176lbs by the end of Jan 2020. I ate fairly normally with smaller portions and still had the occasional beer. Last week I decided to do this soup diet again, I lost 6lbs in 5 days. On the chicken and soup day I had a very long day at work which also required some physical activity. I woke up a 4am shaking and dizzy. I had to go downstairs and make peanut butter on toast, orange juice and tea. This was NOT giving into cravings, I had cravings throughout and they were generally mild. This was my body telling me there was an emergency need for energy.
    I think from my experience doing this diet twice and monitoring calories in the middle I would conclude;
    1 - you do lose weight on this soup diet, but you'd also lose the same weight by eating things you like in moderation whilst monitoring calories.
    2 - the structure of a 7 day diet kept me motivated to lose weight in one go, whilst monitoring calories the lack of structure sometimes meant I went over and didn't lose weight.
    3 - if you are going to do this diet make sure you don't over exert yourself, I am never going to do this diet again after my reaction this time.

    I'd suggest drinking plenty of water during this time you'll get a more accurate idea of how much weight your losing if you're hydrated about the same amount of water each day.

    Been doing this for 4th day today, checked my weight this morning, I thought I probably lost about a 1 pound. Astounded to see I have lost 5lb! in 3 days. I have been doing lchf and lost around 50lb in the last year and was getting stuck. This has made a difference and kicked started me again. I will let you know how I get on after 7 days. Soup tastes great and well impressed with it's outcome.

      You probably got stuck because your body is used to eating under 1500 calories. Do diets 2 weeks than eat normal 1 week than go on the diet again

    Lose weight or not, the soup looks good and its a money-time-saver! I'd add some garlic and parsley myself but like he said, make it for your taste. So thanks for the recipe anyway. Will try it and if I do lose some weight, I'll share it.

    After seeing this video I thought I would give it a try. About two years ago I put ion about 30 pounds because of some bad eating habits. I lost most of the weight just by adjusting my eating, but for some reason I couldn’t get rid of the last 10 pounds. I tried this diet and like it said I lost 10 pounds in one week. I have continued with a healthy eating plan and have managed to keep the weight off. I must say that the soup is actually really good. I don’t know if it was all the cayenne pepper but I would find myself craving it - but I like things pretty spicy, so this hit the spot. On the brown rice day, I poured the soup over it, and it was just like Spanish rice.

      Yup. Most of the weight lost will be water weight and muscle. Without any protein, your body will go into starvation mode, making it harder to burn fat. Anybody who does this needs to add lots of protein.

    This works. I did it years ago but added chicken tenderloins just to get protein since i was scared of muscle loss. It's vegetables, mostly pf the negative calorie variety, so even if you don't just eat the soup by itself but incorporate this into a healthier diet and ideally overall lifestyle, you will see results. Like just have a bowl or 2 a day.

    I found this today just when I was about to go and pick up items for the cabbage soup diet. I decided to try this one because it claims that you can lose up to 17 pounds in 7 days! I am super excited...I can't wait to see how this works! Followed the soup recipe exactly except I could not find any dried vegetable stock so I used a little liquid vegetable stock instead. It taste GREAT!! Will keep you posted!
    Update: I am losing slowly which is good however I was hoping to be at least 4 lbs down by now. When i make my next batch of soup I will omit the carrots for a lower G.I. Day 4, I decided to incorporate a weight lifting routine along with my daily cardio to help burn fat. Found the vegetable stock powder on Amazon!
    Update: After 7 days I lost a total of 9 pounds! IT WORKED FOR ME!! Lifting weights helped increase my weight lost.

    I know this post is over four years old but I just happened to find it. I made the soup and I have to say that this is the best vegetable soup that I have ever tasted! I used fresh produce as you did and I tried to prepare it the way that you did in the video. It's very easy to make and is absolutely delicious. I did skip the cayenne pepper and I added garlic powder. Fantastic! Here is a way to lose weight and eat great. Since this is so good, I can't wait to try your other weight loss soups.     I made this soup on Saturday night ( and I only had it for dinner)February 22 2020 and today is Tuesday February 25 2020. My starting weight was 174.0 as of today I weigh 169.0 and it’s only been 2 whole days of eating this soup and once on Saturday the day I made it. I’ve also been doing 30-45 minutes of exercising. I’ve cheated a tiny bit so far and had a few pistachios here and there. I know that the 5lbs I’ve lost is likely water weight but a pound is a pound. As long as I continue to eat the soup and keep exercising and watch what I eat in no time that water weight loss will turn into fat. The soup was pretty bland the first night I had it (even with all the spices I added ) That’s because my body was used to having salt , but after the second time I ate it it tasted a little better. Now I actually enjoy it. I made a head of cabbage and I put some cabbage with my soup. Also I was going to make my own tomato sauce but I didn’t have time instead I used V8 low sodium tomato juice. I couldn’t find the vegetable stock powder so I used low sodium veggie stock and just added a little. I hope this helps some one. I will update after I complete the 7 days. 👍🏽.

    I am making this right now. I'm 4'11" 130 pounds:( I gained 8 pounds in 2 weeks last summer because I was having some health issues with my uterus...I had surgery to remove it in Jan of this year and have not lost that 8 pounds, in fact, gained 2 more. 8 years ago (and for a most of my adult life) I was 110 pounds and felt at home in my skin. 4 years ago, I was 116 pounds, and that was fine, but 130 on my petite frame us too much for me. One last detail, I am 45.
    I will update this next week and I am going to try very hard to eat this and follow the rest of the diet, we shall see!!💚

      Lydia Miller i did a very similar diet as well. The cabbage soup diet. I found that one easier. You can have some meat on day 5 or 6. But it was extremely hard for me to stick to that and have no protein. I ate chicken and eggs everyday. I didn’t lose 10 pounds in a week but I felt better I’m down 6 pounds in 2 weeks with the help of that diet. I’m the same size frame as you and 110 was my perfect weight as well. I can’t wait to be back down so far I am at 126 and so much happier. Good luck on your diet. I’d love to know if you found something that’s worked better and easier.

      @@ajaylet8466 Ajay:) Congratulations on loosing the 6# and most importantly, feeling better!! Not many people understand how anything over 116# is just uncomfortable!! Because the majority of women are much taller than we are! I've just been trying to drink more water, eat less "junk" I really don't eat junk tho...😭rarely eat out, no soda, but I do drink beer and wine...I know that doesn't help, and I DO feel better when I totally cut the beer out, and I am less bloated. There are days when I really take care of myself, protien smoothie with almond milk, spinach, banana and strawberries, tuna for lunch with arugula, tomatoes, boiled egg (I have chickens:) lots of veggies and protein for dinner. However, I don't do that every day. I will tell you, back in 2011, when I was 110, I followed the Paleo diet, I started on a Friday, and when Monday came I was 107#. I continued that for 6 months, then I had hand surgery, and my husband fed me lol, CARBS...oh I love carbs...later that year I was 112...then my appendix got very sick with cancer and had to be removed, along with part of my colon...that was a long recovery...by this time, I was 116...had 18 months of bad situational depression that followed...more weigh gain, then for a long time, like 5 years I was steady at 120...LOL, I thought I was "fat" then!!!
      So, long long long story, but I think I really need to go back to the Paleo lifestyle, because that's what I need, not just a crash, fast diet:) i will recommend a book called Practical Paleo, she has recipes, but also, reasons why this type of eating can benefit some people. I don't think everyone can do Paleo, just like I don't think everyone can do vegetarian. Thank you so much for your comment! Nice to meet a fellow shortie💜hope you update your success as it comes!!!     I can eat this every day. I LOOOOOOVE peppers. That is a super low calorie amazing fat burning soup. Have a side of green tea with ginger through the day and black coffee and you will really be burning calories. You can use veggie broth instead. You can add parsley and Cajun seasoning instead.

    Found this just when the weather started to get cold. Although where I live it usually rains more than it snows in December. I'm slowing transitioning into a plant-based diet [Thank You ForksOverKnives] and this looks like a fine dish to add.

    Hi Tony, I cannot wait to go shopping and to pick up my ingredients. When I first saw your video on our UA-cam channel on TV, you mentioned that those were your favorite veggies with which you were making your soup but that if we liked other veggies better we could choose other veggies. I'd love to know if that still stands because I'd love to add mushrooms, kale and fresh spinach if it's allowable. Personally, I have never been a lover of soup but apparently, I am going to learn to be a lover because I'm starting this Monday morning and I'm not going to falter. Also, why is it we cannot go beyond seven days? I'm so sick and tired of feeling sick and tired and I NEED to lose a whole lot of weight. I'll be turning 70 next month and I'd love to get below 200 lbs so I can look and feel more presentable. I'm so READY!!! God bless you for giving me the best birthday present ever---- a chance to put my right foot forward to improved health and to live to see future birthdays. God bless you!

    Ive known people to do this diet. They get bored of it. Do make it. It works. Very healthy. Freeze your leftovers so you can enjoy it later. No icecream for desert.

    I started yesterday. Twice I had raspberries and blueberries, Total like 25 R and the same blueberries because the blueberries were so sour. then I had 3 bowls of soup during the day but all before 4 pm. 1 gallon of water. I started at 163.2 and this morning I was 159.8. Will update tomorrow morning. So exited!!!! Is now Tuesday morning, I weight 155. Lost 8 pounds in 4 days. I need to lose 15 more and I'm there. :)

      @@CookingaRound end result was 9 pounds and I love it. Note that I didn’t eat the tomatoes or the leafy green on their meal days. I was just too full. Also, I didn’t exercise outside of walking my dog. So, I probably could have lost more. I’m resting today and moving to soup #2 tomorrow. Again, thanks for the plans. I will keep going as I have a lot to lose. 😉

    Omg I cooked it this morning. It’s so delicious. Though I made mine a little different by replacing red bell pepper and carrots with cucumber and kale. I also added dried fish, dried shrimp and prawns to mine. It’s so yummy. I will eat it all week by cooking in different styles.

    Very good recipe. Though when continuing on this food plan for longer periods of time I do add lentils along with a couple pinches of sea salt. Protein is needed to maintain muscle mass. Drink a lot of water. Perhaps I go overboard a bit but I drink nearly a gallon a day. Following this diet, moderate exercise, and hydrating I have lost nearly 50 pounds , so far. But like all things in human life, do in moderation.

    I have started this diet today and I’m looking forward to the results. I used my Vitamix to purée the soup and for someone like me, who dislikes celery, the soup is surprisingly very tasty and the thickness of the purée fills me. I’ve had two bowls and about 5 pieces of fruit. I hope to lose at least 10 pounds by next Sunday.

      @@peggypeggy4137 hi Peggy, so I did lose 9 pounds. Unfortunately due to COVID and other challenges, I gained it back, but thats not the soup's fault. Recipe definitely works, just have a plan for when you finish the diet.

    Made this the other night and was quite successful! I fine diced all the veg and added fresh garlic. Used a 24oz jar of Prego Roasted Garlic and Herb for the pasta sauce. (= just a bit more than 3 cups for those not in the know. . .I just figured that out meself) A million times better tasting than the "original weight loss soup with cabbage"!! Thanks lots for the recipe, I'm going to have to double the amount next time!!

    Thanks for this recipe! Can't use the cabbage soup because all those cruciferous veggies will make my low thyroid even lower. This may just do the trick.

    I do a soup like this, but I add cabbage, and when it's all done I use an immersion blender to thicken it a little. I'm going to make this!

    Okay so i got my soup cooking...im surprised at how sweet it is! I added chili powder as well as 2 ears white corn cut from the cob to add a lil more color 😊 today i start my soup diet at 200lbs.
    PS...those who really like salt...try NO salt or low salt as a salt substitute...both can be found in local groc stores 😊

Of course I know this is water weight, however this soup is making me feel pretty good without any nasty side effects.     First day was the hardest, but how serious are you to lose it. I ate my soup with fresh cilantro and extra lemon with green apples by the third day you are cruising.

    I had absolutely no problem whatsoever eating this 2-3 times a day for 7 days!😋

    I just made the soup. It is very delicious. I don't really eat much salt anyway. I am starting the diet tomorrow because I have seen hundreds of reviews for people that it worked for. I'm hopeful that it works for me too.

      It may be because your not used to eat vegetables. I am vegetarian since 1994 (I eat egg whites no yolks and drink almond milk no regular milk) maybe it is that my system is use to eating vegetables and not having meat because it didn't cause me any stomach problems.

      @@TJ6152 UPDATE: when I started drinking this soup I had just come off of a 30 day Master Cleanse where I lost 26 pounds. Usually I'd gain at least 5 pounds back. But thanks to the soup, I didn't gain anything back! I'm maintaining my weight for almost 2 weeks now! So, I didn't lose anything, but I didn't gain anything either. If I had done this soup diet under normal circumstances, I'm sure I would have lost some weight. But because I had already lost 26 pounds, I think my body was just okay to maintain.

      Does it ever crossed anyone’s mind the importance of actually chewing the vegetables in the soup for its powerful benefits of fibers? Trust me on this - the actual chewing strengthens your teeth and gums, chew well to avoid gas later.

      @@jesussavedme6260 I have been on for 4 days now and am not going to weigh myself until the end of the week. I think if the dieter sticks with the idea of this plan, ie low carb (tons of the right type of carbs) no sugar, no junk food, no processed foods, fairly low fat, high fibre, it should continue to work--or at least no gain back the 10 lbs. There are still lots of things you can eat. We shall see!!

    I have a wedding next week and need to loose some weight fast. I only have 7 days. So, I’m going to give this a try. I’m going to fast today, so will start this tomorrow. I don’t care for tomatoes but at this point may this is what I need to fight weight loss resistance. I hope it works!!!!

      I did Tony's Magic Cabbage Diet Soup yrs. ago & lost 20 lbs ! The first 10 lbs was water weight then the real weight & inches started coming off ! It was an awesome soup .
      I will try this one next cus I can stand to loose 10 lbs again .
      This soup doesn't look to time consuming to make like the magic diet cabbage soup did !
      I will try this along with excercise .

      After one week - I lost 2kg, like 4 pounds - the thing is I added fish and a little salt to the soup, also I am doing lot of cardio and weight lifting, the most notable difference is many people say I have lost my belly fat - my tummy is much flatter and that's what my goal is . without salt it was so tasteless that I had to add a bit but not too much. I recommend the soup - Its a healthy option and the guy has really taught me how to make soup - many thanks !! all the best folks

    I just made this today, along with the homemade tomato sauce. They both turned out very good! I will up date on how much weight I lost in a week. Thank you for posting this. I had been looking for a weight loss soup that din't include, cabbage, eggplant, cauliflower or corn, as have a reaction to these vegetables. I tend to be a salt-holic, and usually add salt to all my food, but I didn't feel the need to add any salt to this soup. This recipe is perfect.

    this soup makes sense. most of the veggies are made mostly of water. fat is made of water and it takes water to get rid of water. so going to try this.

      the reason why you lose a lot of weight is because the low calories. the entire pot of soup is less than 1200 calories.

      +Amanda Bullucks That is true, but the soup increases your metabolism and thus burns more fat. Also, it helps your body from absorbing extra calories, removes what you need and flushes the rest faster because of the spices. So the more soup you eat the better for you in losing weight.

    I tried this soup before and lost 10 lbs in 4 weeks, slow progress but work, I ate boiling egg in the morning for protein plus light exercise.
