Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the award winning Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. Pavitr is such a perfect mix of extreme politeness and sheer bluntness
He's also more carefree and easygoing than other versions of Spiderman. Which is great to see, I like him!
Gru n v and j vs Uzi Doll And Cyn
AKA: a spider-man
@@kirongauff4934that's because he didn't have his canon eventS yet. Life hasn't beat the hope out of him.
The term is fuckboy...
I’ll forever love that despite Spot’s goal of specifically becoming a more threatening and evil villain, he genuinely doesn’t want to offend anyone with accidental racism.
Professionals have standards. When you wanna be a great villain you don't just go for the low hanging fruit.
Spot: "Don't mind me, just passing through, I'm just on a personal spiritual journey."
Pavitr: "And you came to INDIA?! Don't "Eat, Pray, Love" me, bro!"
@@marcelocapeljunior3579 I feel like the greatest villains are those who both goes for the low hanging fruit, simply because they can, and are willing to work diligently for the high hanging fruit.
Honestly, he just wants to be respected by Spider-Man. That's all he has left.
Kind of sad when you think about it
@@NobodyC13 You have working ears, congrats
The glow up he had from his comic design is insane
he looks better now, not a bald head spiderman with Indian clothing back then.
@@yeetaskedjjh🎉😢😢😮😅🎉🎉😢😮😮🎉

@@user-pm6nx1fs2w HE WAS BALD IN HIS MASK
Love that they included him, but his costume design was so much cooler in his first apprarance
I love that Pavitr tries to pass off the muscles every spider-man gets when they get bit as just him being “naturally buff”.
Just like all those "natty" gym bros out there whose biceps are bigger than their heads... it's sll natural they say. Only rice and chicken, prayers and genetics lol
I guess doing spiderman stuff is a good workout.
I guess technically…
Damn I love the way Pav swings around. He’s not just a reskin of Miles or Gwen, there’s been serious thought about how his culture and background would affect his web-slinging
Yeah, his way of swimging is very unique. The way he uses both arms and legs to swing around is actually inspired by an ancient form of Indian martial arts, if im correct.
Probably
@@cosmicplays3788yes that’s correct about the ancient martial art for his movement
@@cosmicplays3788it also shows us his more carefree and easygoing nature too as a bonus.
Right?? It’s so cool!
“And this is where the British stole all of our stuff!”
I was dying in the theater when that (truthful) line was said 😂
As a Brit, I laughed at this line
Noo hatr brother it wasn't you guys anyway they all are dead
@@abhishekmk4101Yeah, but the stolen good are still being kept by the same museum that stole them in the first place. A theif can't let his great grandkids inherit ths stuff he stole
Metropole taked only resources, but gave security.
@stuartfirth330 Same, as an English person, it was one of my favourite jokes
It's so funny how Spot wants to destroy the multiverse, but without being culturally insensitive 😂
Professionals… have standards
He's a villain for the modern audience.
Actually his actual goal is to ruin Miles’s life
0:36 Don't forget that Gwen also wasn't supposed to visit/follow Miles and did it anyway, so that comment on Miles being in love with her goes the opposite direction as well.
Oh she’s so into him
@@Tonycillian5What silly scamps they are 😋

"NOOOOOO-"
Pav is too adorable hehehe
Me punting Prabhrkar a whole loaf of Wonder bread..."What you asked for bread, does naan not mean bread?"
something about pavitr just screams "hey! i havent been traumatized yet!" which for some reason is uncanny for a spiderman, damn Stan Lee really made the personal problem bit too much of a staple
Well of course, he hadn’t had his canon event yet
@@frimi8593 oh thats a shame
@funguy3259 he was supposed to but Miles stopped it
@@frimi8593His Uncle Bhim is most likely dead. As Miguel later explained "a police chief who is close to Spider Man," dying is just one of multiple canon events. I'm guessing the death of an uncle or other loved one is usually the second canon event Spider People face.
That’s what I thought too and if Miles stopped it then it might be worse for Pavitr.
I love how when gwen told pavitr that miles wasn't supposed to be there and pravitr was like you weren't invited and you came anyway, even he can see miles and gwen connection
1:10 He's holding a puppy, so it can eat in peace, aww ❤

"I should never have come to see you"
Little did we know how hard that line would hit later
Later;
"You right, Gwen. You *NEVER* should've come to see me."
Later Later;
So that’s why you never came to see me
I love finding you guys, the people who paid attention to all those little details. Makes me feel like I'm not the only one 🤣
The irony of the Chai Tea line is that Miles uses a similar comparative when he first encounters Spot in the conveyance store asking why do people call it an ATM machine doesn't the M mean machine?
I love how the sitar kicks in just after Gwen and Miles get caught by Pav, and then his theme hits full-force as he appears on screen - excellent way to bridge the gap between Gwen and Miles finishing their conversation (which is important to their stories) while also not stealing Pav’s big entrance and introduction.
What makes this even better is that Pavitr Prabhakar is also voiced by Karan Soni AKA Dopinder from Deadpool.
Really hope in Deadpool 3 they sort of do mention of this xD
He absolutely killed this role too.
@@uncannydcmarvelous5732that is very much possible

The moment we got introduced to Pavitr I was so shocked and so already in love with him is unbelievable!
They made him cool as heck.
In my opinion somehow slightly cooler than Spider Punk
Remember that Spider Therapist in the Spider Society? I think Pavitr would be a great therapist.
He would be miles (haha) ahead of that guy.

One of the rare few movies that showed India in its true beauty. A chaotic alternate universe, we are the people who carry humor in the face of adversity😂
The way he considered Gayatri's dad as a threat so spider sense can active is so funny

From an English perspective, I can see why "chai tea" and "naan bread" both work. It's technically referring to how the Indian variants of tea and bread work, so if you're speaking English, it technically works.
To a native Hindi speaker... I can see why it gets frustrating.
Indeed. People like Miles, Gwen and the Spot can eat other kinds of bread and drink other kinds of tea, even counting tisanes as teas, e.g. I drink rooibos and chamomile, and have in my pantry a whole box of Solomon's seal from Korea. Miles even hit the Spot with a bagel, an Ashkenazi bread roll.
Six months? pavitr has been spiderman for 6 months?
Pavitr yes, Miles took up the mask a year and a third (4 months), and Gwen as of this movie has done the spider gig for about 3 years (she mentioned doing it for just 2 years in the prequel into the spider verse)

Meeting this Indian Spider man was probably the best part of the movie. Forget about making another Fantastic 4, or Marvels or Ant man or Captain America movie, we should get a real origin movie about this guy, he sounds way more interesting than anything else coming out!
