The girls from Quiché are from a specific mayan group in Guatemala. Each of the 22 mayan groups have their own dialect and clothing. They are almost half of the country's population. Mexican style tacos are not as good as in mexico here. What we traditionally call "tacos" are something similar to a flauta. The guatemalan equivalent to a mexican taco we just call tortilla with meat, adobo, chorizo, chicharron, or whatever (and more obscure fillings depending on where you go). They are usually chunkier pieces of meat, and we put toppings like avocado, radish, grilled onion or chirmol (similar to salsa tatemada in mexico).

Pupusas are a traditional dish in Guatemala but mostly street food. The difference between El Salvador pupusas is the cheese, both have different cheese. Pupusas also have different names in Guatemala (pishtones, tayuyos etc)
