@@X_ASuccessor I think that's one of the many reasons @nuralizhanybekov9111 roots for him.
He could stay in the beef and ruin a great friendship by burning bridges with Kendrick (which would ultimately disappoint all those holding hope for a collab album) also going against his Middle Child line in 2019 saying "And I wouldn't beef with a n**** for nothing" and going against all personal growth by taking the bait of being the cold MC he's portrayed himself to be by challenging anyone and everyone to out rap him.
Or he could just be the guy he's told us he is since 2013.
As far as J Cole the rapper is concerned, backing out of that beef was a weak move. As far as Jermaine Lamarr Cole the human being, it was a very Strong move that showed character growth, intellect and discernment. But he's been having trouble separating the two, which is highly relatable for any man that knows in life you have to be stern and stand up for what you believe in, but also knows if your not careful, you'll end up just another @$$hole trying to assert ur dominance over everyone else. This makes Cole highly relatable which in turn makes him easy to root for as a person.
You are absolutely right bro, J Cole deserves our respect for this move. Drake is more unwise in this situation. And look where he is 🤔

Drake on the other hand has a track record that shows despite being the biggest rapper in the world for over a decade and supposed to be the zesty popstar caniadian child actor (which is a lot of the reason a lot of hip-hop fans hate seeing him succeed so much and for so damn long), the only rap beef he's lost is not even because of Pusha T (and that diss track was savage af) but because of Houston's big Daddy J. Prince
