4:01 The lights are not broken, they're turned off. This may be part of it's normal operation (for example turned off or flash yellow at night due to low traffic), or due to them actually being broken.
In this case, obey priority signs posted alongside the lights (Give Way, STOP, or Priority diamond). If there are none, give way to the right.
Note that, in Russia, a white "СТОП" sign is not a priority sign, it's an information sign that marks the where the stop line is, in other words where to stop when the light is red. It's needed in case the stop line is obscured due to snow or other things, and is used where there are pedestrian crossings, because without that sign, you would have to only stop at the edge of the intersection.
TL;DR, "СТОП" is not a stop sign, a red octagon with the word "STOP" is a stop sign.

over here in croatia there are no stop lines (except those at traffic lights but everyone stays a meter or 2 back as to not break their neck looking at the light. You just have to guess where you should be to not be a nuisance

I have also played this game off camera and with the actual intention of driving well, and the tips it gives you are rather helpful

City car driving is very realistic. I know someone 30yo and with 9 years driving experience will reply saying "It's nothing like the real life!" (I know, the physics when turning are tough and "tricky", for example) but if you have no experience driving, if you master this game (with VR, the experience is better) you could drive without problems.
(In my experience, driving a car is not that hard, compared to be 100% focus always)
I enjoy the proposed video "BeamNG in Real Life, every time I crash, I literally die" It'd be unique, but y'know it'd have to be unedited raw footage.
I used this game and BeamNG to practice for my driving test with my old Vive for VR. It’s definitely helpful to a certain degree.

What is The game called
I had the car exam on January 4th. I mean, I took City Car Driving a month ago, and I didn't give up until I passed all those car exams in the game. I was even looking for a way for the car I made at school to fit even better (VW Golf 8). I passed the car exam with 11 out of 21 penalty points. All I want to say is that this game is perfect if you are going to take the practical test of the car exam. At least it helped me a lot, but it probably helped me that my parents taught me to drive as a child. Overall, this game is great, I highly recommend it

Here's a simple algorithm how to perfectly S-park every time, it's only 4 steps
Let's imagine that you drove right past a parking spot that is 1 car long between two cars + some room for maneuvers, you're parking on the right side, here's what you do:
1. Drive straight back until your rear wheels are in line with the rear bumper of the front car
2. Turn the wheel all the way to the right and go back until you see the entire rear car in your left mirror
3. Set your wheels straight and move backwards until your left rear wheel is on the left edge of the parking spot (you might lower your left mirror to see that)
4. Turn all the way to the left and go back until you're aligned
Watch your front and back clearance (remember: you probably have more of it than you think) and you'll succeed
You'll get a feel for it eventually

In the US we call "S parking" as "Parallel Parking". It's a notoriously tricky bit of driving, and is a weakness of many drivers here.

The funny thing is, and you will soon discover this as soon as you start driving on your own after getting your patente, immediately after passing the exam a lot of the theoretical rules you study to pass the test get thrown out the window by 98% of the people on the road
Yeah, and you also discover your instructors show their true colours of awful drivers as soon as your test is passed. Mine drove me back from my test phoning and driving (no bluetooth shit or anything, he had the phone in one hand) and cornering at 110 kph in a 70 zone with that poor peugeot 208 leaning sideways as he invaded the other lane in the process just to carry more speed in 😅

As wheels I really recommend Thrustmaster T300RS GT or Logitech G27 / G29. The added shifter is a big help

For ppls future reference, at least in the US, the main things that will screw u over in a test are like using your turn signals, not slowly emerging to check sides at a blind stop, not going out into the intersection to wait for your moment to turn when u don't have the green arrow, or vice versa waiting when the green arrow gives right of way, not checking mirrors regularly, not physically turning ur body to look back when backing up, etc.
