i'm going to toronto for 2 days in 1 month , is there a pass for 2 days or something like that ? like a pass to take the bus/subway
(Update 2023) You can now use Credit Card or Debit Card when boarding TTC Vehicles. Swipe at the same location as where it says PRESTO.
this short film forgot to mention, u can only use the :"transfers" at "transfer points" which are where trains and buses interconnect at intersections. on the system, if u find urself going the wrong way, simply obtain a transfer from the driver/operator letting them know u got on the wrong bus/streetcar, exit the vehicle, cross the street safely and board the right vehicle showing the next driver/operator ur transfer - without it, u will need to pay again. TTC has POP - proof of payment now, which is ":transfers" for cash, token or Presto users - passes don't require transfers - but do require u show ur pass to every operator/driver as ur POP. unless u know way ur going, its a good idea to Not use headphones until u get to ur stop - stops are announced thru the vehicles speaker systems.
How did people with headphones manage not to miss their stops before stop announcements? They dumb people down.

You can use your debit card at Fare Vending Machines located in every Subway Station. You cannot however use debit cards on Buses and Streetcars.

You get an automatic transfer on your card
No you do not require a paper transfer when using PRESTO. When you tap on to the TTC with PRESTO, your fare is deducted and a transfer is automatically written on the card. It is valid for unlimited 2 hours from the time of issue.
