No. Only getting on. You do get a 2 hour transfer so tap each time you board a new bus, streetcar or subway. You won’t be charged again until your 2 hours expire.
I see button on the door outside, what are those for? On a non busy? Or non intersection stops driver doesn’t auto open all the doors? Is that what those buttons on the doors are for? To open the door to enter? Oh and to exit, push button to open door too?
The doors will open at the stop. But sometimes they will close but the streetcar will be waiting for a red light. You can push that button to reopen the doors.
Thanks for the video. When doing transfers with a ticket, can I transfer to different streetcars or subways as long as I’m within the 2-hour window? Even riding in opposite direction, i.e. return trip, is also allowed?
It only accepts coins I think. They don’t always work. Alternatively you can use your tap credit card to pay, but each person needs a card. You would tap your credit card where you tap the Presto card.
The old streetcars were quieter. These new streetcars definitely have horns. I live beside a streetcar stop and they are constantly blowing their horns at cars that aren't stopping. It's just a really loud constant sound - think a ship blowing it's horn.
Within Presto you can buy a TTC monthly pass for unlimited travel within Toronto. But Presto itself doesn’t have monthly passes. They oversee multiple transit systems. However the TTC monthly pass is very expensive and not always worth it.
@@VisitTorontoVideos, the TTC Metropass is really only good if you're a visitor who's arriving in Toronto on the first day of the month, and will be staying for a week or two (the Metropass can be purchased up to the 14th of the month, IIRC.)
It is fairly low to the ground. Most people just lift up the stroller. However, if you don't feel that is an option, there is a ramp used for wheelchairs.
@@VisitTorontoVideos, the ramp is only extended for handicapped passengers; anybody else has to lift the stroller onto the streetcar. It's not that hard to do.
@@reev9759, yes, the streetcars are like that, but as said above, if you enter without paying and a fare inspector does come onboard to check for fares and you haven't paid yours, you can be fined.

No. It is a flat fare. But you do have 2 hours to go on and off the TTC from the first tap.
