I saw it coming (it’s a fairly obvious, but still funny joke) but the way he ripped it open with his teeth got me.

i feel like it’s more of a show written for teenagers that kids can also enjoy. i think it works so well because they don’t really dumb down the writing a lot. drake and josh are both believable teenagers in high school

I remember the first time I saw this; Megan’s just calm “this doesn’t surprise me” had me dying. It still is the best part.
Oh, the irony, the cop gave Walter and Audrey the idea that he would take in Drake and Josh to show them what being arrested is right and they agreed because they hoped it would teach them a lesson and show them how to behave and act responsible yet the so-called responsible cop leaves his keys in his car and allows a robber to steal it and take them both away.

Plot twist: when the cop asked for sugar he really meant it as code for cocaine.
During my first year on the job, I was riding with & Field Training Officer & he arrested a girl for public intoxication. When we got her to the station, my FTO told her whatever she was hiding on her she needed to hand over because they’d search her when she went to county jail. She then reached down the front of her pants & pulled out a pop tart & set it down on the table. I still think about that to this day.

If you can't hear anything, it's because you have mono speakers. The audio is coming out of the "other" side of the stereo speakers. You need stereo speakers to listen to that side.

The audio is mono, right track only so if you have headphones in only the right side gets audio
@@kalebnolan8343 Close! What's happening is that mono phone speakers will basically mix the center of the left and right channels together. In this case though, the panning of the audio channels is so far to the extreme left and right, the mono blend ends up being inaudible.
My old phone had this issue with videos like this, but my new phone has stereo speakers. On laptops/phones with stereo speakers, the sound works but is really strange, like you're trying to cross your ears or something.
@@etekweb you’re close as well, but it’s not actually a panning issue. The left and right channels are “out of phase,” meaning that the left side is flipped 180 degrees compared to the right. With a stereo speaker setup, the left speaker would be pushing out while the right one is pulling back. This results in phase cancellation when the 2 channels are mixed together. The 2 sides actually cancel each other out because of the inverted phase, resulting in the “crossing your ears” effect you mentioned.
Fun fact, this is how AirPods or other active noise cancelling headphones work! They use microphones to hear outside noise, then play their own noise that is perfectly out of phase, which cancels out the original noise.

This reminds me of a Laurel & Hardy film where throughout the ENTIRE thing someone's holding some flowers, originally intended to give to a lady, but obviously hijinks happen, but the entire time Stan and Ollie keep passing the flowers to eachother everytime one of them needs to do something, and at no point did either of them think to just put the flowers down. Consistently throughout the film one of them is always holding the flowers. It's genius.
The best part is the end of the episode: After Drake and Josh scare away the criminals with their fake blood bit, Taylor comes to the house crying and says “my date never showed up.”
