Chimney Fire Day 3 Operations - Helicopters, Tankers & Dozers Vegetation Fire August 15, 2016

Here's video from day 3 - August 15, 2016 - of the Chimney Fire burning in the Lake Nacimiento area of San Luis Obispo County, CA. Low winds and a heavy inversion layer made smoke stay low to the ground early in the morning, preventing aircraft from working until after lunch. Once they were able to fly, a myriad of helicopters and air tankers worked their magic, making a significant difference in a mid afternoon spot fire and flare up West of Tres Vista Road.
As of 7AM this morning - 6400 acres, 10% contained.

Here's a shout out for your excellent coverage of this fire. I noted there are now more engines on this fire than the Soberanes Fire. Hope they get a handle on it. Stay safe.
