Thousands of Bangladeshi physicians worked in Iran until mid 90s. My parents were among them. I spent my preschool years there and visited a couple more times during my primary school years. I acquiesced Persian or Farsi before I learned my mother tongue Bengali or Bangla. We lived in a small town near Khorramabad. I can still remember the extreme level of friendliness of the Iranian people. So many memories in relatively a small portion of my life! You made me emotion-choked with the video of Khorramabad.
Absolutely beautiful, thank you so much for sharing your story, very special and I am happy I could give you a taste of how it looks today. Thanks Taufique!
Hi Toufique, I actually remember those days when Bangladishi doctors were working iran.I wasn’t there but my parents spoke highly of our Bangladeshi family doctor. So thank you🙏🏻
@@kman6716 I am obliged and honored by your recognition of the services of the Bangladeshi doctors. I will convey your kind words to my parents. I still remember the Iran-Iraq war. During the wartime, my parents served your people with professionalism and dedication, despite serious life risks. Our home in Iran was bombed, and I can still remember the day. My mom was treating the injured patients even when the Iraqi planes were flying above our heads. At one point we had to move to a nearby village (I remember the name to be Ab-bariki) as the city became impossible to live. Many doctors actually left the country in fear of their life, but my parents stayed back. Your government certified my parents for their service to the Iranian people during the wartime. We still have good friends in Iran, who we consider nothing less than our 'famil' or family members. They still call us often on Skype or Viber. When my parents left Iran, many Iranians followed their car for a long way (I saw the pictures) and cried as if some family members were leaving for good. So many memories!

Hey Nick , You can extend your visa in Tehran if you like to stay longer... You missed all the major cities like Shiraz, Esfahan, Kashan, Yazd, Tabriz, Sari (north of Iran) and Persepolis....
I have REALLY enjoyed traveling around Iran with you and will be sorry to see them end! I hope to go there one day after I retire in four years. Cheers to you and I look forward to seeing your upcoming Tehran video and to where you will be going next! Teresa
I did the roadtrip from Ahvaz to Tehran and back many times as a child with my family; there is meadow with wild poppies near Khoram Abad which is so beautiful. I hope it is still there.
Thank you for the amazing videos so far. I'd just like to point out 2 things, 1- The experience you had in the south of Iran is actually the exception not the norm, as despite a large amount of Iran's land being covered in desert, most of the country and most of the population center sits at an elevation and most Iranian cities are actually mountainous and sit at least 1200 meters above sea level, which also includes Tehran. What that means is cold winters and hot summers. Snow is also not the exception but the norm, so it does snow in Tehran every year and if it doesn't that's strange and shows the effect of global warming. 2- You're using a style of oriental music which is not Iranian and isn't reflective of our culture, I understand finding royalty free music is not an easy task but most traditional and folklore Iranian songs probably aren't copyrighted anyway so you can also use those to give a better feeling of the overall traditions and culture. Thank you so much for your amazing series in Iran.😊

@Lon Spector the medes were another ancient group af arians who migrated to iran and lived alongside persians and elamis and close to assyrian in western parts of iran. they once had an empire before losing the power to persians. They are now blended by other iranians especially in western and north western provinces but we guess that kurds of iran are one of the main tribes remained from them.

Your Iran vlogs series has some of the most views on your channel! I’m not surprised it’s a beautiful country with such history and a lot of contradiction! Hope more tourists can enjoy the country❤️
throughly enjoyed this Iran trip!
I think the Iran trip has been very interesting and really beautiful. Ive loved touring this unique country through your lens Nick....
JUST WOW!!!!!!! Thank you! AWESOME video!!!! :)
You've got to be one of my favorite travel bloggers. Laid-back, jovial, and willing to take risks.
Great video I am enjoyed.
OK ... I am hooked. You are opening up the world to us. I never thought I would want to visit Iran. But I do .............................................
It's great to see this part of the world. Thanks and stay safe :-)
What a beautiful place that city with the castle is I could almost smell crisp autumn air and the food in the street.
Epic Brother, Your a Renegade. Peace and Love to the people of Iran. Be Safe, Thank you Skill Share, , Belus Traveller
There are many traveler channels out there in UA-cam but your performance is so far the best I have seen. You make the experience realer. The only traveler i have subscribed to.
Hey Nick , You can extend your visa in Tehran if you like to stay longer... You missed all the major cities like Shiraz, Esfahan, Kashan, Yazd, Tabriz, Sari (north of Iran) and Persepolis....
Thanks but it was my plan to go where I went.
@@IndigoTraveller Either way...you still didn't see much of Iran!
I have REALLY enjoyed traveling around Iran with you and will be sorry to see them end! I hope to go there one day after I retire in four years. Cheers to you and I look forward to seeing your upcoming Tehran video and to where you will be going next! Teresa
Hey Nick, that Taxi and that Hotel room is so cheap. Driving for hours and just 20 USD, come on! Makes me think to check IRAN
Absolutly you should come here
Yeah, incredible deals!
@Lon Spector who mentioned Medes? I didn't. I had to look at wikipedia to even know who they were.
@Lon Spector well as I told you I'm not very knowledgeable about them so you should probably read about them yourself.

I still can't get over the price of things, it's like stepping back in time. It's also nice to know how warm and helpful everyone has been. I was wondering when you might want to break from the Falafel's (hee hee). Doing a great job and Thank you for the upload.
Why not go to northern Iran, especially Masal or Masouleh
What I love about your videos is that you filmed what normal people face everyday. Yes there are lots of videos showing luctury places like hotels malls ,... but your video is what people face everyday when they go to work. btw as an Iranian I confirm your videos are sooo real : )
Amazing videos, keep up the good work!

Truly love these videos of Iran. If I wasn't American I would be tempted to go there. At least I am able to travel there through you. I love the information about the cost of different things and the scenery is great. I love the area you are in now with the mountains. Keep up the good work. Truly EPIC!
Why can’t American’s travel to Iran? If you go there as a curious and friendly human and not with religious or political agendas, then you should be fine.
I am really excited about your next trip and I hope you are in Iraq>keep up:😎
Yes, Iraq videos coming soon!
@@IndigoTraveller spent 3 years Iraq.. one day I will vacation there!
@@IndigoTraveller I have been to Iraq a few times, I would be very interested in seeing Iraq from your point of view!!!
I have always wanted to visit Iran. I'm so glad you did and are sharing your experiences with others. The Iranian people are so beautiful and nice. Very welcoming it seems. And they really seem interested in us as people. I can't wait to visit

I went to Iran almost 7 years ago such a great memories. I miss it so much now I can’t go there 😢
We need leaders that will fix things between our countries. These people are not our enemy.
next video: Beheaded in nearby mountain village
As an American I would not go there there a bad people everywhere though.
you must visit IRAN to believe it
I've became engrossed with your channel. Your travel vlogging is by far the best on UA-cam. Cheers!
Where are my fellow Iranians at ?
🤗
Not Iranian but supporter and admirers of the Persian culture of Iran 🇮🇷
Greetings from France 🇫🇷
Xavier Ancarno Cheers man
@Lon Spector i would say we are all arians(indo iranian) mainly so not that different but yes there are different races and religions in iran.
@Lon Spector the medes were another ancient group af arians who migrated to iran and lived alongside persians and elamis and close to assyrian in western parts of iran. they once had an empire before losing the power to persians. They are now blended by other iranians especially in western and north western provinces but we guess that kurds of iran are one of the main tribes remained from them.
amazing video as always, thanks for showing us the real face of Iran
