Great vid. I recently got my hands on the BSUN Raw and signature BSUN cream/marbly sound is so addicting. Their price point at $0.48 USD makes them that much better. I am also using the Sarokeys Strawberry Wine which is like the Raw, but with their POM top housing. Great switches!
i think one big thing to the sound of a switch is how thick the plastic is. i find tescee and bsun to have a thicker mold then others. i think cherry also has a thicker mold but the mixture they use has them on the higher pitch. to me bsun or tescee is the winner in this collection.
You laughing at the end of your jokes is a highlight of your channel to me, haters gonna hate :) Appreciate all the testing!! Good luck with the move!!
I feel like the Tecsee RAW was the most improved after lubing, though I'd probably go with the Gateron RAW. They've been firing on all cylinders these days.
Pretty interesting. I think I prefer BSUN and Gateron. Have you tried the Gateron Luciola switches? Glow in the dark is kinda fun but the sound is very much like the rattle ball in a spray paint can. I only did light lubing on the stem and springs because they lose their unique sound when everything is lubed up.
Honestly, the Ajazz Huano switches are good but similar to their RAW switch, they aren't spectacular or bring anything significantly new at this point. I run spring swapped Peaches on my preferred board for gaming and they are fairly similar to other good PC top & bottom housing switches. They do not come factory lubed so do benefit quite a bit from hand lubing. If you like lighter springs, then these are definite a great choice... they were too light for me in stock config so I went to a 45g spring.
I don't believe so, but tbh all the vendors are playing this very close to the chest. I reached out to Geon and he mentioned that the Gateron raw stem mold was tweaked?
@@MakerMods I learned from another user that the stem is slightly longer with travel distance of 3.7mm vs the yellow's 4.0mm. Also the top housing on the Raw is pc while the yellow is a blend. Thanks for the response btw
i'm not maker mods but yes, i do have this issue with mine :( did you ever find a fix? i tried lubing the spring and leaf but then the crunch just returns after a while and it really bothers me.
@@notsnowyyy actually I find the solution. you can try to lube the top of the spring with 205g0. not much but you can see the lube, and the stem pole. for it actually works. let me know if its works for you
@@KeyRckt didn't work for me, unfortunately :( did it totally solve the problem for you? i'm not sure if it's making a difference but if it is it's *very* small and the sound is definitely still there.
@@KeyRckt the part that makes contact with the spring, right? i tried that and it didn't work for me. maybe i got a bad batch of the switches or something? i really don't know.
It's not a real Maker Mods video without that signature laugh
100% lmao

Strawberry Wine switches look almost identical to the KTT Darling switches ive been using, thats kinda neat
2:39 couldn't agree more, bsun always holds a special place in my heart. i love them all

Your laugh is perfect always makes me smile!!
Ahh Maker Mods. 😂
Never change. Great video as always.
Be you my man. Don't listen to the haters.
100% grabbing RAW switched and lubing + spring swapping them. Great video as always!
Great video, really like the shoobs style soundtest with the sound meter

I love/hate that all Gaterons sound great to me, I'm definitely planning on grabbing some Raw switches soon!
Very interested to watch the Keygeek Raw full review
The laugh is the Maker Mods signature move, you shouldn't get rid of it just cus some ppl hate fun!

Same here. Absolutely love them.
lol bro keep laughing, your cheesy jokes are worth it
would like to check for qk65v2 using pe foam is the bsun raw able to achieve a deep marbly sounding?
The slow extreme 3 63.5 from sprit is hands down my favorite spring
I'm a keebdad. Laughing is not lame.
Also the frequency graph is fire.

do you play high APM games?
@@MakerMods not really, mostly typical non-competitive games, mostly AAA action and turn based... nothing that needs something like a Wooting.
No film apply on this testing environment right ?
no film!
Which one was your favorite?
Aside from the springs, are the Gateron Raw and Milky Yellow the same exact switch?
I don't believe so, but tbh all the vendors are playing this very close to the chest. I reached out to Geon and he mentioned that the Gateron raw stem mold was tweaked?

Laughing is not lame at all! Just be yourself, love the humour! :D
Do you feel a spring crunch or leave sound in the gateron raw,? I've tried to lube the spring and leave but the crunch sound is still there.

I actually like the stock Bsun Raw more than the lubed ones
Try out the Huano Holy Tom V2 tactile switch and rose cream v3 linear switch I highly recommend it especially if you are looking for a budget switch
Laugh, it's a signature at this point.
I saw forsenE
