David, thanks so much. I have a 71 with these bumpers that I’m just starting in on, but this gives me good insight on some of the adjustments I need to make to fix some positioning. I’ve learned lots from your videos that will make my own project smarter and more manageable.

Great job! One thing David, for the front bumper side pieces, there should be a rubber spacer between the bumper and the fender. That will prevent the bumper from scratching the paintwork. There is a BMW part for that, but any rubber spacer with the proper inner diameter (same as the bolt) will do
I am installing pre 1972 bumpers on a 1974 2002. The base bumper supports shown in your video are different than the stock supports(1971 and prior) by reason of a flange added that allows them to be attached to the frame using the same attachment point as the 1974 "big bumper". Could you tell me where I can buy those bumper supports. Thanks!

The front bumper would have been better simple and without the 2 rubber pads.
Those North America bumpers really ruined the beautiful lines on the 2002. Good choice putting the Euro bumpers on.
