I can so relate. Same feelings when I bought my diamond tennis bracelet. Most expensive piece of jewelry I own. But after 70 hour work weeks for most of the year I had saved more than enough and decided to go for it. So glad I did.

Great review darling Minnie. I have 3 jumbos and 1 medium large in caviar leather. I store them stuffed on their backs on top of super soft baby blankets under the blankets i have bubble wrap. I know I'm super O.C.D. The back quilts are just as puffy as the front. My gst's are stored the same way.

I love this new series, it's something I wanted on bags but could never find on youtube
When I was looking for a jumbo i researched the actually weight difference between single and double flaps. Could not find the actual weight of the single. When I was in the boutique I mentioned this to the SA and she went back to get her single flap. She did not know the actual weight but emptied it and I held hers in one hand and the new double flap in the other - it really felt the same. I bought the jumbo that day and love it. She explained the extra piece of leather may be a slight difference in weight and the Jumbo's chain is what makes it heavy in either bag.
looking good -- love your energy! I agree, stuff it with air bubbles so it's light and I read to let it "sleep" ie rest it down and now standing up, so gravity doesn't pull it down. (kinda like wrinkles) I do that but I don't use them enough or observe to really know! i do love the advent of air bubbles vs paper as stuffing.

Out of topic - I love your top!! So pretty on you :) This video was very helpful. I've been wanting to get the Chanel Jumbo but my biggest hesitation is I'm super petite and it looks HUGE on me. But it doesn't keep me from dreaming about this bag. Great review hun!

The leaning forward problem happens when you carry the bag more on one chain instead of the double chain.

I have 2 black jumbo CC handbags, both black just one is lambskin and the other is Caviar. I love lambskin feeling, but the Caviar is a bit tougher.

Oh god I was the same when buying the neverfull I thought my heart was going to pound out of my chest and right up to the moment I payed for the bag i had all sorts of things going through my mind "what am I doing" "do I need an £880 bag" "am I crazy for wanting this bag?" Can you do a vid on what you pack in your medium large plz? Just got my vintage Chanel double flap in lambskin from my birth year 1989. Dream bag! I have to say the lambskin on the vintage is so much more durable than the leather today on current Chanel lambskin

I purchased my jumbo from the boutique this year, I wanted the caviar with gold hardware so bad! I have lambskin and do not use it. I swiped that card and was happy! Money comes and goes but this bag will increase in value :-)
I was laughing about your comments on "kinks" in links. I actually took my jumbo double flap back to the boutique because I thought there was something wrong with my chain (kinda kinked up). My lovely SA smiled and in front of my eyes worked the "kink" out and it was perfect! I was so embarrassed but he was so sweet. xoxoxoxo
The bags leaning forward maybe due to the fact that the leather becomes softer with regular use and less stable as compared to stiffer leathers.
What are your thoughts on the chanel business affinity flap bags?
Hah...and also...I was 8 when I bought my first bag with my own pocket money...It was a really small all leather bag...😂😂😂 The incredible thing is I STILL have it and it is in perfect condition..hehehe...I guess we all bag addicts start pretty young...and never go back!lots of love 😉
I'm torn between the M/L and the Jumbo. Realistically I'll probably only use it on Fridays (at work) and the weekends. I'll be making the decision within the next month, so super nervous and excited! Hopefully one of the sizes calls out to me.

I love the Jumbo! But I'm not a fan of the maxi. It looks a lot bigger because it's wider and higher but I feel it falls down badly by not having any extra room in the depth, which is where you really need it. So it looks a lot bigger than the jumbo but it really doesn't hold that much more.

Hi Minnie, since your alma BB is in DE, here is my question for your upcoming review (it is a question about DE in general so maybe it is more appropriate for your Minks Mondays Q&A): Even though I love DE, I rarely reach for it, since I wear a lot of black, and in my mind DE does not go well with black. I also often wear stripes and simple patterns and in my mind DE clashes with them. How do you coordinate your DE bags with your outfits??? Thanks!!
First off, you look beautiful : ) Second, I love this bag. I don't know if I will ever be able to get one but the lust/love is real for her and at least I can see her on videos. I did see a jumbo in person and was surprised at how big she is. I think for me (I have bad shoulders and I am short) the medium large would be the one. Question please...I have admired your Chanel red o case since you got it. I have dogged Fashionphile and they just aren't out there. Last summer I visited the Chanel Boutique in SFA in Nola and was told only the big stores get them. He did not offer to order for me. Hi minnie....I purchased this chanel jumbo caviar shw a month ago after I watched your video. I never thought i would like chanel bag before. Now I'm falling in love with this bag and use it almost everyday. Is it ok to use it everyday? Coz with GST will lost the structure. But it will be ok with this bag, right?😊
You had mentioned in a previous video you can only drink water since your surgery. Is that because of having your gallbladder removed? Is that because it's painful or because your doctor recommended drinking water only? I also had my gallbladder removed so I'm curious of future dietary limitations. Thanks 😉

Lux Purse Love Exactly! Rock those bags everywhere 🙌🏻 I think it'll come down to personal preference. Some say laying down others say upright. Hi Minnie, Great reviews as always. I have been wanting to get the jumbo but I wanted to get a made in France piece (since chanel is a French brand I thot it would be nice to get one made in France).Have waited for a few months now but my SA said all deliveries now are made in Italy. Someone told me that only 10% of the classic flap especially jumbo are made in France nowadays. Any ideas whether this is true? Do you know of any difference in quality between MIF and MII ?
N P I cant comment on the difference in quality between the two countries. However all 3 of my Chanel bags are made in Italy and they are all impeccable. I bought two of them in store and checked them thoroughly before purchase, as long as you check it you will be more than happy with the quality 😀 xxx
