Pppp😊
Not drum related but I love what you did with your hair
Just picked up one of these!
Kits like this are the best thing for the industry. Getting people started playing and loving drums. Wish these existed when I started (early 80s.).
I agree 100% which is why I had to show it off and show how much potential it has even at such an affordable price!
It's how I started back in 2020.
100% agree! i haven't played drums since i lived in a college party house with a music room. i got really into and then when i moved i quit because it was too hard to get practice in with neighbors. been playing guitar since 2010 but picking up this kit today after work!!! so excited to get back into it! technology has come a long way! My plan is to wipe off the cobwebs and start teaching my 9 yr old. i already taught him to read sheet music so this should be perfect for us! ❤
Your review of this kit and this video have inspired me to get back into drumming and pick up this set!
Awesome play😁🔥
Wow your setup is SO NICE, I thought you WERE Drummeo. Fun song choice, great playing, I'm checking this kit out for a little practice setup for sure.
he is basically drumeo XD
So cool. You look like you are on fast forward in some parts :-) I’m convinced. Going to order this kit and start learning drumming
You made me listen to Taylor Swift. I enjoyed your playing and twirling is fantastic. Thanks! I like my Nitro mesh red and black kit and enjoy them very very much . Nothings as good as real drums but yes. They record easily. I have to mic so much when I rec my real kit! And I will subscribe. You have a good attitude as well as being really good at what you do. I guess our house isn’t big enough cause even when I play in headphones my wife wakes up cause the walls kinda shake. I wish it didn’t wake her but still. I can practice without disturbing the world!
Rockin haircut..and rockin COVER 🎸
Well played 🎉❤
I bought this kit for me son!!! we love it!
Fun to watch
Sounds great
When you have a PC connected to load the BFD pre-recorded sounds, once they have loaded onto the module can you then unplug the PC and keep the BFD sounds playing? Or does the PC need to be connected the whole time?
Looks dope
Cool kit and playing! Is it just me or are all the toms sounding the same though?
Sounds good.. I don't know if I am coordinated enough to play drums.. I played the trumped for 13 years but that's a whole different ball game
Trumpet.
How did you do that at the beginning of the video?!
Good old casey drum cover 😁
Hi, is it possible to tilt forward the snare and toms a little bit or are the connections rigid with no ability to tilt them forward like an acoustic set can? They look awkwardly flat . Thanks
My Crush does love this song.
Have you heard of Mini Fairhurst?
COOL ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
the only thing that would make this kit better is if it had a bell on the ride.
I have this kit and you can play a bell ride shot. It doesn't really explain how, so you'll have to find it explained somewhere, but if you hit it flat across the pad, quite firmly, it will play a bell sound. At least, in the in built kit.
I think I saw someone mention it's a high velocity hit, but I've hit the edge quite firmly and not got the bell sound, but with a flat stick across the pad, it works.
The main problem is that it doesn’t last longgg☹️
Really not bad for price point..actually sounds like a higher end set,but I gotta have along the lines of Strike Pro SE at minimum for full versatility
Yeah it's awesome for the price but if you have the budget for something higher end, the additional features would probably be even better!
I got this yesterday and the hi hat cable is completely dead, doesn’t not register any hits from anything. It started going out by needing harder hits to register then just went out. Kit is 1 day old. Any ideas anyone?
Not a beginner by a long stretch, but I want a kit to use at church without taking my $5k Roland kit. How legit is this kit for worship music? Also, saw the expansion pack options, worth it for this application?
If you wanted to use it at church you would definitely want to run the BFD player and use the dark mahogany sample packs eq’d and adjusted for your room. (All of that comes free with the kit). The only downside is it’s not a dual zone ride cymbal, so you wouldn’t have a ride bell. If you want one I would recommend getting the expansion pack for an additional $100 that would give you and additional tom pad and cymbal pad and you could use the tom for a bell and cymbal as a second crash which would round out your cymbal options more effectively and still only set you back $500.
Was hoping for BananaRama!
All the dark magic trickery that your evil twin displayed while you talked me out of $400.
Why are you still making the frame child size? I might buy one, I have a Roland already but this frame is too small.. How many pennies you saving?
Hey! Curious why one would have a Roland kit (a more professional grade and responsive system) vs. a Alesis? I am an absolute beginner looking to get into this to learn so curious on why.
I actually have another version of the Alexis kit and I've been trying to figure out how to connect it to my PC to stream me playing it on Twitch
Common problem with factory settings on ekits - cymbals don't feature at all, MUCH too soft. Dude should've made them louder? 😱😮😢
Also, the snares are virtually all that cuts through the mix.
Can those be turned up (independently) at all?
@@woolyhatkatt Yes. All modules ca adjust individual volume.
The rack looks very wobbly, saw a ton of reviews saying the rack is pretty much the only downside of this kit. Otherwise, it looks and sounds nice but I feel like the rack is a very important part and I personally would hate to play on a wobbly kit.
I just bought this kit a month ago, and although the rack is kinda shaky, you really do not notice while playing
Electric drums are great for all players that live in apartments, where they can't afford to make noise produced from acoustic kits.
Awesome !!! big like 58 !!!
Brasillll
Hi ,m from india... i have this kit but i dnt knw how to connect it with my laptop... can you plss guide me...plsss
I miss the old Cooper...
Hello Cooper, I follow you since 2016. So I hope you should to cover Kpop song "DOXA" by SECRET NUMBER pleaseeeee
Way to much fill in.
AAAhhh Tayler Swift really 🤮🤮🤮How about Cruel summer by the OG bananarama !!!😁😁😁
Kit looks like it is made for a 12 year old……just saying.
Exactly!! People have pointed this out for years for these Alesis kits
The beginner roland kits arent much bigger either, they make them like this so they are more compact for people who dont have that much space.
The rack on this one is actually a little bit smaller than the original nitro kit, but it's very possible to spread the crosspieces which will make it a lot wider - it is a bit cramped the way it's set up here for some people, but some of us like it like that. 😊I actually have my Roland TD11KV set up very similarly to this, but it just looks bigger because of the 38mm tubing and the 12 and 13" cymbals. The two top toms on the Roland are actually only 6,5" of playing area but the pads are bigger, and these are 8" Tom pads.
@@gamingtv2841Yes, some of the places I've gigged in don't even have enough space for a regular edrum kit, this is perfect.
We're not animals, we don't need to hit things with sticks anymore. Get a drum machine.
