This is it I'm done not producing anymore. This dude just putting an 8,5 hrs tutorial on UA-cam. Absolute legend.
This is BY FAR the best ableton course there is. It is just insane how much more you actually learn if you can follow along rather than just listening for hours. Thank you so much for your effort!
I'm 2 hours in and have learned more about production structure than I have in the past 40 hours of watching YT videos.
Same. My Ableton trial has ended so I can't even export or save my songs until next week. Hopefully the computer doesn't restart.
Grab a cracked copy of ableton and when you are ready to make tracks buy it! 😊
@@bjarnejanssen5356 thats what im doing
frfr
Just like everyone else here I'm very appreciative of you sharing your knowledge in this way. I just wonder, am I the only one that wants to throw their computer out of the window? What did I click, why is there no sound coming out of my chanel again, and all of those little things that built up to great annoyance LOL
Dude, this 8h tutorial just droped harder than most dubstep songs. What a champ!
talk about GIVING to the community. Very generous of you! Thank you so much.
i set a goal to learn making music in 2024, just finished the first song and i already learned so much. I watched some other youtube tutorials before, but most of them skip parts that i would say as a beginner would be good to understand, they just turn button do this do that, it sounds nice but they dont really explain what each button does. So watching you explaining literally everything important that we are doing is really helpfull to not only do stuff but understand what we are doing. Im going to create the 3 songs now and come back for part 2
good contetn :)
I’ve had a copy of ableton installed for 3 years now and despite multiple attempts could never get my head round it. I play piano and have been eyeing up the roli seabord 2 but thought no point until I learn Ableton properly. Stumbled across your channel the other day and just sat down to go through this. It’s 2am and the whole day disappeared. Love this video. I now understand ableton a lot more than I ever have. Can’t thank you enough. Gonna join the discord and will share the finished tracks. Thank you thank you thank you.
Amazing stuff! what you do for the production community is incredible Jules!
This leaves me speechless, I dare to say that you are the channel that most helps new producers to organize their ideas well, see your processes and that it is in such a disinterested way makes me think that you are really made to teach people, you are a great among the great and I thank you for so many lessons, much success and a big hug from Mexico brother🤘🏼
❤️❤️
Feels like I was just sitting next to you for a week following along... Thank you!
Thanks Julian, it's like you are sitting next to me, teaching me on a 1-2-1. I am so lucky I found you. Its a dream come true!

Absolute gem. Thanks a ton for the good work.
You're a legendary intelligence, thanks for creating such a great content in youtube where there are heaps of useless stuff that are misleading people.

🙏🏼 so so helpful thank you
Thank you so much , this is very helpfull🌟
I work a lot, so its taken me about a week to watch this. I do skip some parts, but this is the ultimate video for anyone truly serious about wanting to learn Ableton, or at least enough to create what you hear in your head. I cant thank you enough. I can hear these differences and nuances in the music i listen to but i didnt understand what they used to do it. A lot of people on youtube are just showing their little tricks and such, but you sir have laid out a great way to understand ableton. By far top notch information here. Its a shame the average attention span wont sit for 8+hours. Unless youre dedicated. Thank you for your dedication to our dedication. You knew we needed this. We knew we needed this.
Just finished and this was so amazing. Thank you, thank you. Learned so much.
I'm so happy I've stumbled upon this. Thank you, this most definitely one of the best tutorial videos I've ever seen.
This is going to be a good one. Thanks
The dude for giving this to the community. It’s m sure there is something in here for everyone.

Thank you for your amazing efforts. I'm new at Ableton Live and this is getting me the pointers I needed
Wow. God bless You for this. I really needed this😇
Thank you for being thorough! Best ableton course ive seen, and its free. Much appretiated
Song 2 is so great
Very much appreciated, I have taken up music production at the age of 45 in the last 2 weeks with no production experience, and only knowledge of mixing on a dj controller for the last 5 years, and getting bored of mixing other peoples' songs. Your style is laid back, but explained better than all I have come across so far, it encourages you to tamper gently with the settings to work this gig out for ourselves. Excellent, thank you, I definitely have a skill, and with your help I am learning to develop it. Thank you much love.
Same here, just started at age of 37 and this guide helps alot, thank you !
exactly the same on age ,xp with controller and boringness
@@madriz475 I really wish I hadn't of waited, I just thought the learning was going to be too much theory (really can get by for now with basics). I use my Roland DJ202 as an amp for my laptop nowadays, not for mixing any tracks!
Great video ❤
Unbelievable😮 Lost for words!
You are an angel, thank you for your hard work.
This content is insane! One of the best UA-cam videos out there. Thank you so much Julian for giving this content for free to the music production community. This will probably help a lot of future successful producers!
You the man.. Bought about every PLM course but this is the only one that makes sense to me.
This was immensely helpful for a newbie! I thank you with amazing gratitude. defiantly subscribed!
wow. Thank you very much. Great video.
You are a very good teacher, thanks for the tutorial video :)
This is the best tutorial video on yt. Thanks so much for doing this, it really helps new songwriters/producers out so much.
Always look forward to your videos. So much information.
As someone who got into production late in the game I rely on this stuff:)
Thank you
Wow.. Giving away just SO much value! Keep killing it Julien!
Hi Julian, I watched this video in several parts because I'am a beginner and I wanted to stay focused every moment of this video. I am french speaking, I'm from Belgium and despite the fact that I'am not perfectly bilingual, I was able to understand everything. Thanks for your good pedagogy and your didactic means and also to your good way explaining slowly and your calm. And above all the fact you justify each gesture which help me a lot. A year ago I bought several books on sound design subject and watched a lot of videos online. But never practiced, because I wanted to know all the theory before I started. Three weeks ago I followed an online training explaining the chords, the piano roll etc and in parallel I installed the trial version of Ableton on my computer. Then, I came across your channel by chance, and by following this video I was able to realize three tracks, it's just amazing. Thank you so much. Also, I wanted to tell you that I followed a lot of people on YT for a year. And for me you are the best teacher online! I will visit your store so that it is necessary for me improve my skills and to continue learning by following you. And sorry for my english, but thanks to you, I had 8 hours of English lessons in addition to a course in music production :-) Enjoy and I wish you all the best!
Thanks for this, seriously this is unique you will find very few producers committed like this
Omggg thank u so muchhh
Wow. As a retired guitarist for 20 years, the last tracks I laid down was on Fruity Loops back in 2003. I've had the itch to write again but have been too intimidated to even pick what DAW I wanted to get to know. I feel like I've lived 2 lives since I worked with music and sound, and all my band mates have moved on. This video has been really great to get back into using my computer for something more than work. One song down, 2 more to go, then off on my own adventures. Thank you sooooo much!
Extremely valuable course with good explanation. ❤
I promise I will finish this course!!!!, with your videos I've understood Ableton in practice and thanks so much for sharing!
thank you brother,
Oh wow!!!! Thanks a million ton for this ❤
🙏🙏
