Theo had a hard question to answer I didn’t understand it. I love the entire cast but I’m sad that the actor who voiced minthara didn’t get any questions.
It wasn't necessarily a hard question, just one that shouldn't have been directed at Theo, or anyone on this stage for that matter. She was asking about how disabilities are taken into account when doing MoCap, but none of these actors are disabled in any way that impacts doing Mocap. The only one on stage with any kind of authority to answer this question is Neil, given that he has by far the most performance capture credentials, but even then the question is better reserved for someone who actually has that kind of disability.
My favorite games were KOTOR 1&2 until BG3 came out. I'm 35. Never played D&D before but now I'm 3 sessions in and im hooked. Honestly the best game I've ever played.
In all my time playing RPG's, I don't think I have ever seen a response to a cast bigger than this. Not just this event, but in general. People liked the Bioware RPG main casts, a lot, but its not even close to this.
Awesome cast! 249 hrs into the game, and still just having fun running around the city in Act 3. Totally skipped the Underdark too. Gotta do that in my next play-through.
Terrific assembly! Every single one of these people are fantastic actors and their voices will always be in my head! Just as much as if they all made a really good dramatic movie together. Thanks for doing this!
Also there is a way (without mods) to get Halsin and Minthara as of Patch 3 (hadn't checked on Patch 4) - it's a bit convoluted but requires you to skip around a bit and then break her out and go back to safe place where you find Jaheira initially. She ends up where she ends up still if you sided with her. It's... interesting.
As of patch 5 you can knock her out and then complete the quest of killing the goblin leaders before a longrest then going to moonrise in act 2 she should appear there
The last question was so embarrassing and puts the fanbase in a bad light. although there are much more interesting questions. how uncomfortable Neil must have felt.
I wouldn't lump the whole fandom in with one person's bad question because that would be a little unfair but I've noticed at conventions that sometimes people with questions aren't given any guidelines about what not to ask at panels. Neil is also not afraid to play with Astarion's flirtiness during his own streams and unfortunately that might make some people feel invited to ask these things. Really it doesn't make any sense to ask about something so specific in the fanart anyway because there's no way for any actor to keep track of all of that.
Ouch, yeah - that was not cool. Neil did a great pivot through - super professional and prepared - and excellent assist by Dave to redirect it. I've seen him manage inappropriate fan comments in other places with similar grace and aplomb; he's really good at sticking to talking points when they're needed (it sucks that they are sometimes...)
I think a bit of it came from Neil making jokes on his own stream with Dave about the Astarion/Halsin/Gale ' hot sandwich' drawing. But it is true, the question could have been aimed at a different topic or worded better. :)
Finally go to see the full panel. Kudos to Wheels, you were an awesome panel host! The cast was amazing and there were some excellent questions from the audience that really highlighted some things for me I hadn't been aware of before. :) Thanks for posting this and sharing.

thank you for this! really grateful i was able to attend for the saturday panel but gutted i couldn't make this one with the additional cast members, so being able to watch it back is great, i adore this cast so much!
Thank you all for your acting and for answering questions. 👏 great work all!
So glad i tried this game on ps5, my first dnd game. I love it, my goty, real masterpiece. Thanks Larian, voice actors, and everyone that worked on the game.
I love them all so much!!! And there's a special place for Tim/Gale in my heart ❤️
Theo had a hard question to answer I didn’t understand it. I love the entire cast but I’m sad that the actor who voiced minthara didn’t get any questions.
the person was asking about accessibility in relation to mocap
@@jlog3540 yeah... unfortunately I don't think the cast are the ones to ask.
#justiceforBingBong
Wtf was that question towards Neil? Some of y'all need to learn shame and respect.
I could listen to Minthara talk all day
11:30 JAHEIRA ROMANCE DLC.
WANT
I agree, I romanced her in BG2 and wished I could in BG3 as well.
Man i max her relationship bar, spam long rest... No intimate scene. Sad.
@@Lokhir100She's still getting over Khalid and Charname/Abdel. She doesn't have it in her to go for another one. She outlived all her lovers
My favorite games were KOTOR 1&2 until BG3 came out.
I'm 35.
Never played D&D before but now I'm 3 sessions in and im hooked.
Honestly the best game I've ever played.
can also say that witcher 3 and mass effect trio may be something for you, they are also great rpgs
Thanks for posting this, I really wanted to see the whole interview! :)
But where's Minsc
and Boo
glad to see these VA's getting the recognition they deserve
Wheels was the moderator for the BG3 panel?! Oh my gosh, that's awesome.
They’re all so dear. What a lovely game, it’s in my top 3 of all time, and i’ve been playing video games since Space Invaders.
Minthara's VA coming out in an Iron Maiden shirt was not a gift I was expecting
In all my time playing RPG's, I don't think I have ever seen a response to a cast bigger than this. Not just this event, but in general.
People liked the Bioware RPG main casts, a lot, but its not even close to this.
Awesome cast! 249 hrs into the game, and still just having fun running around the city in Act 3. Totally skipped the Underdark too. Gotta do that in my next play-through.
"it's not mine, I swear" - meanwhile baby sips blood
28:08 .She could not hold it in.. WOW, look at the cast faces with that question...
Adore hearing Dev and Jen not realizing their mic’s are on in the beginning lmaooo
It's... interesting.
they patched it up for 4
As of patch 5 you can knock her out and then complete the quest of killing the goblin leaders before a longrest then going to moonrise in act 2 she should appear there
Watching this while waiting 500 years for patch #6 to download.
I loved it, except next to nothing from Emma Gregory. 😢
I've seen him manage inappropriate fan comments in other places with similar grace and aplomb; he's really good at sticking to talking points when they're needed (it sucks that they are sometimes...)
and totally inappropriate in relation to the character's story. Either the person hasn't played the game or they don't care about the theme.
I think a bit of it came from Neil making jokes on his own stream with Dave about the Astarion/Halsin/Gale ' hot sandwich' drawing. But it is true, the question could have been aimed at a different topic or worded better. :)
He made jokes but also said that fanart was questionable @@AquaMaryn.
Finally go to see the full panel. Kudos to Wheels, you were an awesome panel host! The cast was amazing and there were some excellent questions from the audience that really highlighted some things for me I hadn't been aware of before. :) Thanks for posting this and sharing.
8:27 Wrong. You can have both Halsin and Minthara now, and I hope it stays that way.
Fantastic panel, thank you for posting.
Thank you for posting this!
Love them all 🤩🤩🤩
Whole crew is awesome but I'd llike to see Clare Corbett in there. Kagha is a great character even tho she's not a companion.
Helsin maybe not be in your party but i guarantee almost everyone who has played the game has watched the "bear" scene somewhere.
Simply spectacular
the question at 42:00 had me giggle a bit because in my second playtrough I had a bug that made astarion strip everything but his undies avter every cutscene
Sounds fun! 😆
That's amazing. 😂
Amazing cast!
GD, Amelia Tyler is the most beautiful person with the most amazing voice.
Questions were so lame and awkward, the cast was solid and i could hear them ramble about anything forever.
The kisses were beautiful and the performances were beautiful!
Tskva! Debora didn't have much to say😄
Chk! unfortunately not many people had much to ask about our extraplanar companion.
I have to admit that i started playing the game because of astarions character, but now i love the game and the whole D&D "genre" in gernal. Its not my first storygame so im actually able to seperate character/voice actor and so on, but some of those astarion fans really need to keep it cool man. 😭
I literally feel bad and secondhand embarrassment for neil to have to answer those weird questions, like dude, yall making astarion a character hes not and expect neil to vibe with it
💀
I know what you mean with entire cast, but if they literally crammed 248 voice actor people on stage that would be pretty crazy 😅
They are so wholesome, damn
Everyone is obsessed with Asterion lol I kinda love it
15:00 such a deep and beautiful statement.🥲
He sounds exactly like Jack Whitehall!
Who?
This was so great ❤. As a gay man, I fell in love with Astarion from the very first time I heard his sassy line delivery. And then I saw Neil ❤❤❤❤ omg
Sam as Karlach - phew 🔥🔥
It is so exciting to see and hear all my beloved characters life. And I must apologize to the actress of Lae'Zel: I really hate Lae'Zel but I love the actress.
A bit sad there was no Minsc.
❤ the badasses are seated near each other!
didn't know Sam was nonbinary!! already loved them but love them all the more now!
I guess this must have been at the same time as one the CR's panels since Matt isn't here.
Nah this wa son friday cr only did saturday and sunday
I've been wondering about that. There's not much of him in these things.
Matt's a busy man, and his companion is such a smaller part he probably couldn't do it due to scheduling/was more a cameo for various fans. @@vexisonline
no Raphael😞
Minthara WE LOVE YOU!
I wish someone asked Minthara a question 😢
Why is this video only 3 minutes long and how do I get 20 hours of it?
Samantha Beart firing shots at 11:20 lmfao
All of them are great people :)
I can see the girl playing Lae'zel as the next Sigourney Weaver in the Alien franchise.
Karlach is a favorite ❤
