Meadow and River Walk

Hey everybody,
I've been physically not so well lately, so I had to take it gently for a while and mostly rest at home. This was my first little walk after this short period of complete rest and whilst I was still feeling a bit painful and had to rest more than usual, it was good to be out there again. I am very grateful for being most of the time able to be active and move around with ease and without pain and won't ever take it for granted...
It's only the middle of August but it's already feeling so autumnal out there. The cast over sky, ripe blackberries, the meadow flowers going to seed, the young swans already growing first white feathers and losing their grey baby-feathers... I also keep bumping into butterflies and moths, like this Jersey Tiger Moth here and the other day a big dragonfly landed on my husband's sleeve and settled there for almost 2 minutes.

I hope you enjoy the mood of my little walk. There is another short nature video almost ready for you. As I finally got my full physical strength back I was able to climb Cosden Beacon on Dartmoor with my friend Heather, where we visited prehistoric stone rows, cists and cairns and met a lot of Dartmoor ponies, sheep, cattle, butterflies and even a little frog...
