    Funny, I remember our base bills being about 3600/mo... That was like three or four years ago... Now it's more like 6000/mo.. What happened? Lol. Gas, Food, Insurances, Taxes, Household items etc.

    I'm counting i'm living on six thousand a month... With social security bringing in at least 4 between the wife and I in 10 years.... I know, its about 10 years from now. Numbers and situational change.... Especially, Biten won't be an office... But who will?

      It doesn't matter which party is in power. It is what their OWNERS tell them to do to YOU that matters.

    What would be the quick calculation for some needing $4000 a month in retirement, earning 5% lasting 30 years. How much minimum retirement savings would I need?

      I can do an estimate for you, do you want to adjust for inflation 3%? and do you want to take out taxes?

    • @brianbunk9057
      @brianbunk9057 Місяць тому +2

      No inflation No Taxes 5% fixed return $725,000 will leave you about $1000 bucks after 30 years NOTE I'm no advisor just a retired guy with excel program that can calculate the stuff. I absolutely would not use this number as a retirement plan, you really need to talk with Drew for a complete plan that takes in all variables.

      Except, as per the 4% "Rule" you'll likely run out of money since $48,000/year is likely unsustainable, as it exceeds 4% of your total Portfolio (which I took the liberty of rounding up to $1 Million and based it on a 50/50 Portfolio).

    Where do you invest the money to earn the 6%?

    • @timsans1170
      @timsans1170 Місяць тому +1

      He opened up by saying that the S&P500 has delivered "On Average" 10%/year.
      Now if you're looking for someone to scream,
      "INVEST IN >XYZ< STOCK AND YOU'RE SET FOR LIFE WITH A GUARANTEED 6%!"
      Sorry, Not gonna happen!

    • @yourfinancialekg
      @yourfinancialekg  Місяць тому +2

      We are just using market averages. Nothing is guaranteed which is why we need a plan!

      Try investing in the country of Iran. I hear they have good returns there, NOT!
