Basically they are making drugs acceptable. Like happens every day in RTE itself. Apart from this RTE is relentlessly promoting events where drug consumption is rife.

Reality?? Teens of 16 yrs are attending rehab for Cocaine addiction (they've been caning it) So it's rather sensible for the Gov. to make an announcement in regard to Harm Reduction. Dublin has druggies, sure even the priest in Cavan is recommending Harm Reduction in the town. Everyone knows who's doing it, It's good for business, Pubs do well out of it too ;-)) The main thing is be moderate and avoid addiction/troubles.
Val I dont know where you been but drugs is a worldwide scourge & Ireland is no different than anywhere else. Better to advise youth than picking them up in bodybags, dont you agree?. As for Alan Kelly he has a big mouth & is renowned for saying anything that draws attention to his useless membership of the Dail.
