The week before the start of lent, i passed a young lad in the street in my neighborhood wearing a dress, make-up and long hair. The first 2 times i seen him was in the shopping centre, he had a look of determined anger on his face. The third time I seen him was up a side street. He looked directly at me and he had a very vulnerable, pleading look on his face. I felt sorry for him, in fact i couldn't get him out of my mind. I decided to pray a rosary for him everyday during lent as i felt very strongly that was what Mother Mary was asking of me.
2 weeks after Easter, i again seen the young man in my local supermarket. He looked purposeful, going about briskly doing his shopping. He wasnt dressed in woman's clothes but dressed as a young lad.
Prayer is the only answer. We need to pray continually for our young ones. For sure, our prayers will be answered. Praise God.

I bought my "reclaim the month" sacred heart t-shirt and wearing it as often as hygienically possibly for the month.
Whatever it started off as, 'Pride month' has mutated into a wholly different beast. Beast being the apt word.

Currently homosexuality and transgenderism is exalted and celebrated in Ireland as if it was a supreme gift from God which you are obliged to applaud, support and bow down to.
This movement presumes legitimicy as if it was a new political party or a new religion with a flag. The Bible tells us that this profanity happened before throughout history.
Brendan you are right in saying that it is a rebellious against our Creator.
God acts in mysterious ways, history repeats, perhaps God repeats history to test our Christianity.
Look away from the confused who celebrate profanity even if they hold a leadership role, and don't look back.

My Granddaughter wanted some rainbow show laces. I bought them for her. She said, “Nan, will kids think I’m gay”? I told her the Rainbow belongs to God,
not to gays.
When I was her age (9) I would not have had any idea what Gay or homosexual even was. It’s a sad situation that now, at 9, she does. She attends a Catholic school too. This ideology is being forced on children in schools, thanks to our government.

Part of the problem is that the norm of celibacy for all single people s not preached; I have not heard a homily on purity in I think decades. Chastity according to one's state in life is what they taught me; I have not heard about that in many years, not in several decades I think. I think if you preach on that, you will be the Lone Ranger; but since you are not from Texas, the home of the Lone Ranger, and since you do not wear a mask or leave a silver bullet behind as your calling card, you will have to make do with a Brown Scapular and leaving behind some blessed salt, having discharged your holy water bottle here and there.

In a way, Thank God I am no longer teaching as I would hate to work in "enemy territory" as are 90%+ of "catholic schools". In the month of the SHeart, when a nearby "catholic" primary school had the annual extravaganza celebrating First Holy Communion, the teachers had the homosexual pennant flying. And parents did not give a damn........yes, the teachers are to blame (I will get into the blame game.....Law Courts do !!!!)but so is the clergy(local + diocesan) BUT PARENTS ACCEPT THIS ...........E V I L , for their children. Thanks Father. I am in one of the dull middle class professions. I keep getting emails from from our firm telling us about “Pride”. As well as “Diversity, Equity & Inclusion” of course. What has sexuality to do with my plain old profession? The last thing they would want is for me to pick up a fancy with a colleague. Quite rightly. So the barrage really is out of place and seems sinister. It’s “enemy territory” stuff alright.

Fr Brendan, to everything you said I respond Amen, and I thank God that you speak the truth. I watched a documentary including interviews with highly qualified boffins of their fields and one explained that next to the Swatstika, the pride flag is second most recognised flag globally. It's the enemy's work without a shadow of a doubt. In USA Young innocent children are being indoctrinated, puberty blockers, irreversible surgery, which leaves them with life long health problems its almost seems as if it could be, a form of child abuse???.....and if you do not agree with all of it, the vitriol knows no boundaries, I have learned from documentaries with young men and woman who have gone on to detransition back to their birth gender, who are speaking out, and speaking the truth. I pray for all the very young people, who become influenced by it all. Human beings are so much more than just their sexuality/gender and making everything about only their sexuality/gender nullifies the other elements of them and that are them, the unique individual that they are, with gifts and graces talents that only they have. If they board the boat THEE ARK.......they will be loved treasured and cherished just as they are, how they are, for who the are. Homosexuality is not a sin(Inclinations resisted). We are all God's children, I so wish that anyone who feels they need to fight for the cause, could know God's Divine unconditional love. The young people who detranision stated, that they are also subjected to vitriol by the pride communities, those whom they were bonded with, reject them.

When the gay community started as a group under the name of Dignity. That was rejected by the Church. But God has His prophets to proclaim that He would restore the fortunes of Sodom. What do you mean this model? The Catholic church is very firm and clear in its teachings on this matter. The Catechism of the Church #2357 states that Homosexuality is "grave depravity", "intrinsically ordered" and "in no circumstances can they be approved"
