When I was a young lad in my mid 20s, I was in a bar band that had this song on our playlist, and at gigs where we’d play this song, as soon as the final guitar chord rang out, I’d start back up with the intro riff and we’d play the song all over again, because I’d always notice people in the crowd rockin’ out to it - and I didn’t want that to end… so I’d intentionally get the band to play it twice in one shot! I hadn’t thought about this song for almost 30 years, and it was killing me because it was such a good song and I didn’t know the lyrics… so after a good amount of googling… here I am!

From the first time I heard Elastica I loved them. I was huge into the Modern Rock during the late 80's and early 90's! They had such an amazing sound. It also didn't hurt that little 12-13 year old me was practically in love with every woman in the band! Hell I didn't find out until yesterday that the lead singer had been part of the band Suede! I never got into them but I knew of them lol. There were so many amazing bands during this time but that was the problem. There were way to many bands and not enough fame to go around.
