Agreed. I don't think most people even realize how difficult their acting in this movie must've been. Especially the alleyway argument scene? Excellent.
Yes the acting!! There was so much that was unsaid that we just felt, the actors conveyed the message without speaking in many of scenes. I knew Rita was hurting without her saying anything. They conveyed a deep love for each other without much romance in the scenes, that’s how we the audience knew there were other women. It was just great I think they both deserve Oscar’s I want to see it again and again
The acting for both of them in this movie was AMAZING! I could tell watching the movie, that Bob Marley Loved his wife unconditionally!! You could see it, so they delivered that very well. I loved that this movie showcased Black Love in such an amazing way. Thanks to both of these actors.
The movie was great. They both did a great job. I think they both deserve an Oscar and many other awards. I will definitely be watching this beautiful movie again.
Both of them are very attractive ppl, im sure the movie is going to be great, I've always wonder why no one had done a movie in all these years, Bob Marley played such a powerful role historically for Jamaica
Marley was released on HBO years ago. I think you can buy it on UA-cam now. That was the best movie/docu I've seen on him, they've had a few. One Love was a good look behind the scenes. It wasn't a biopic. It offered us a look into the calamity of his life...didn't realize all of the things he was going through when he made Exodus. Kingsley rel capture Bob's essence. I didn't understand until I saw the movie. I know now why the family tapped him.
They were both great in the film. Though we can never really know Bob and Rita's relationship it felt like a real relationship, flawed but out of genuine love and history. And the accents were pretty good 🇯🇲💕
its 2 hours ..bro..like you cant put the whole thing.. its a love story not necessarily a documentary about him.. its Rita and Bob's story from Rita point of view..hene why it came out on vday
I am absolutely in love with Lashana Lynch, because My God is she so talented and the world is just getting an inkling of her incredible talent. From her role in Captain Marvel to her soon to be Nova Character debut in the X-Men Franchise to her role as the first female 007 to Woman King to this film, her range from playing Action Roles to Dramatic Roles is unlimited.
I swear I love my people in the diaspora. Black Love indeed. We struggle with the same narratives here sis. Good show guys. Peace and Big Up from Chicago
Good interview...I appreciate the actors care they took to share Bob Marley with me....they definitely brought the essence of Bob and Rita and the life and times it took for them to bring the music and message to the world. I didn't know anything before the film. This film set the record straight
I am a Jamaican. I haven't seen the film as yet, but just looking at the trailer, I'm thoroughly impressed with Kingsley and Lashawna and what I've seen so far. They truly capture the essence of the characters they played. This, to me, reflects respect for the character they portrayed. Nuff Respect Kingsely and Lashawna.
I just loved this movie and just loved bob and his music ,and these two great people deserve a Oscar and everyone's respect for how they brought bob and Rita to life for us ,she is beautiful he is handsome so I think we are going to see a lot more of bothe these lovely people in future ,amazing acting ,THANK YOU BOTHE for bringing bob to life again and his great music ,amazing👏👏👏🙏❤️💚🇮🇪🤗
@@blackqueen164 making a positive impact for ages yes but it isn't always acknowledged and the respect isn't always there, why is it that Hollywood seems averse to casting native Jamaicans to play Jamaicans? Cool Runnings comes to mind. Is it because they can't act or are they not ' Jamaican ' enough?
Ive been a fan of Bob Marley for 35 years and was skeptical at first but gave the movie a chance. I came to the conclusion that nobody can ever play Bob , although this guy done well. It should have been a full movie about young Bob with the guy who played him in the early Wailers years.
Loved the movie 🙌🏽💯❤️🤙🏽. All those critics who thinks their review matters, F off bc you can’t get a life time of a person into a couple movie. Bob’s family help to make it and loved it so leave it be and take your buma$$ reviews and put it where the sun don’t shine 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I have a American accent when I'm around whites...when I'm at home it was more Spanish carribean. So learning English and correcting My patois and spanglish was always a binder. Trinidad is in my blood. I live I Colorado abd it was Mexico before so Spanish is in my blood.
Don’t be ashamed of your accent it seems like everybody always had to fix their accent around white people but they never have to fix theirs for anyone else
people commenting negative on social media sites why not his sons didn't act as him. They keep forgetting for such a icon / movie 🎥 professional training actor is important now u why' in the movie 🍿🎥
The movie is suppose to be about one love, Marley himself says he don’t deh pon the black man side nor the white man side but the side of god, the side of the one who made him come from both black and white. So sitting here and then saying it’s about black love and black this than you are all missing the point, it’s one love it’s love it’s not about color holy shit I can’t believe this has to be said, do none of you understand this????
As is the case with any and every movie made both past and present, there'll be that which the creators intend and set out to depict in their project, and there's also that which the audiences interpret. So Bob's worldview is one thing, but not the only thing - people watching will always impose their own worldviews on that which they see. _Always._ Therefore the comment was valid simply because it's what someone felt after watching it, it's what they got from it.
Jah & Jahes love. I wish that someone would ask them about Bob Marley's RastafarI livity. They keep talking about spirituality and faith. But, it is RastafarI. Blessed love.#1804#Ayiti#ToutMounseMoun#AbolishCPS#AbolishPoverty#DefundFosterCare#ProChoice#RawVeganforLife#HRES40NOW#220YearsFREE

Rastafari is there.
Someone told me he believes that the actor who played Bob Marley is his son. He’s not.
Why he point to her when he said from the ghetto? Her whole demeanor changed
British ness??? U mean your colonizers culture
These two have West Indian roots, not African
Africa is everybodys roots.
