Another super enjoyable video. Thank you for creating amazing content for all of us. It’s been an extremely challenging year for me as well and content such as yours help me relax when I need it most. Happy New Year!
Thanks for your amazing, in-depth sunscreen reviews! I always check your channel before I buy a new one to see if you've tried it. I'm wondering if you could review the new Cetaphil redness relieving SPF 40? They had an SPF 20 and this new one has just been released. Thank you!
I love your sunscreen videos. I can only wear physical sunscreens because my skin and eyes always react badly to chemical ones. Another issue I run into is that most tinted sunscreens are way too dark on my skin. The only one I've found that works is the Murad City Skin that you recommended a while ago. While it is exuberantly priced, I keep going back because it has a tint light enough for my complexion and I look foward to wearing it, as it applies and feels more like a hydrating skin care product. I'm going to look into the Shiseido sunscreen you recommend here. Much more afforadable, I love the high SPF, and I like that it's invisible. Thank you! edit: Oops! Nevermind. I misunderstood and thought it was a physical sunscreen. The search continues!
Check out my swatch video too! It might help bc I totally get that so many tinted mineral sunscreens run waaaay too dark or too orange. Basically, they try to say one shade fits all, and it’s just not true.
I’m also a sunscreen addict (hence my username😂) and now I have to go and buy all these😂😂😂😂 My newest favorite is the Eucerin hydrating sunscreen spf 50 and the banana boat antioxidant + vitamin spf 50 with niacinamide and vitamin c. There is a scent but I find it quite pleasant. Both are quite dewy but still work on my oily skin. For tinted the neutrogena mineral Uv-tint has taken the place of my foundation. I do layer another sunscreen under it for extra protection but it sinks in so beautifully and makes your skin look so naturally flawless.
Happy New Year Dana! I love all of your videos. Thank you for the effort you put in for us! I will be trying to find the best matte sunscreen in 2024 after trying so many dewy ones this year. The Lightsaver is on my list.
Just discovered your channel after trying to find for the 100th time a sunscreen I love. I have been testing for a year and still haven't found one that I'm in love one. I was diagnosed with basal cell skin cancer and never wore sunscreen due to my oily skin. Do you have any recommendations of your favorites for someone with oily skin? I do not like the dewy look at all.
Hi Dana! Loved this video. I want you to know that I've basically unfollowed most of the beauty bloggers I used to follow. It just got to be too much. But I truly enjoy you and your videos and am happy to continue to watch. I know it's been a hard year for you and I'm glad the videos have felt grounding. I'm sending you lots of love and happy wishes for 2024. Now onto the sunscreens. I've only tried two of those. The shiseido is my HG. I love how colourless/clear it is and it dries down well. So happy with it. Also I don't like mineral sunscreens almost ever but that FAB is really really good. I dare say the only mineral sunscreen I've liked enough to buy. I'll look for the others you mentioned but I live in Canada and it's harder to get all the sunscreens here. This year I also found the dermalogica prism sunscreen that I've enjoyed and the naturium uv reflect.... Still hoping it doesn't turn gritty. And some of my all time faves are the drmtlgy sunscreens. I've repurchased so many times! Thanks for the review!!
Hi Dana I’m loving your top 4 and I have dry skin. I would love to order the bloomeffects unfortunately they don’t ship to the UK ..booooo😂😂.. hope you had a lovely Christmas and happy new year to you, see you next year 🎉🎉🎉
I love the suggestions. However, the bubble sunscreen one rubbed off on clothes a lot. Is there anyway that I can keep it on? It doesn’t tend to stick to my face and sometimes I rub my eyes and it will come off on my hands. I really liked it. Any suggestions for my issue? Thank you
That’s not really abnormal for mineral sunscreens. Most don’t really set down even if they are of a more matte ones. You could use some setting powder, but transfer with a tinted mineral sunscreen is sadly pretty normal
Hi Dana, I have a question. How would you compare the tint in the Fab and the bubble susncreens with the tint of the Bliss Block star? Are they similar?
I recently bought 2 new sunscreens and I’m LOVING both. Avene compact spf in beige, perfect for touch ups and adding in a small amount of color and coverage to my skin. I’m also a big fan of the Skinbetter Science tone smart sunscreen, gives the skin a fantastic blurring effect.
@@DanaRipperton I order from skinbeauifulrx and the Dallas esthetician, Savanna Boda. Both always have everything in stock, I never run into issues of being sold out.
Just discovered your videos and love them! Very honest and authentic

Happy new year to you too! ❤️
I love your content! Do you like Lightsaver better than Versed? Is the texture and tint similar? Always searching for my holy grail haha
I haven’t had the versed one for a few years, so it’s not top of mind, but the LightSaver definitely has one of the most elegant formulas I’ve tried

Hi! I have a few swatch videos that might be helpful for you. Search me channel and let me know if you have questions
How would you compare the undefined R & R sun serum vs bloomeffects?
Very similar in texture! Bloomeffects will likely work better for lighter skin tones, but I think undefined has a new shade (lighter) now too!

Skinbetter Science is always sold out but I’ll pick it up next time it’s in stock!
