Hi, thats mental, can i ask how does that get rectified, would it be financial compensation or a rebuild, its very interesting seeing how much poor workmanship goes on at that level of construction
I am a 30 +year chippy and some of the walls i try to plumb my door frames in well you would think stevie wonder built em if i done my stud walls or linings like that they would sack me on the spot
Either get sorted or buyer pulls out you should have a right to snag new build though out all stages of build the home from footing all the way to putting the bathroom taps on
Is this a timber frame development? If so, you can't blame the bricklayer. I'll tell you why...the NHBC won't pass the work if they cavity isn't kept 50mm. So if the kit is leaning so will the brickwork. To solve this the kit needs to be bang on! It never is.

What the course of action now 🧐
So what happens to the wall? How is it corrected?
What's the corrective procedure when the brickwork is out to this much?
Obviously timber frame, try blaming the chippy.
What can and will be done about it ? ✊
👍🏾
What bead is that?
I’m curious, how do the Brik send up crooked??? Like are the builders just not using a leveler while building??
Not an expert, don't quote me on this but my guess is foundation/bearing soil settlement or perhaps insufficient floor joist bearing support.
Why aren't the NHBC doing these checks? Surely if they are giving a 10 year guarantee on these they should be checking.
Nhbc don't care about brickwork quality. As long as the joints are full, ties are clean and the trays are cleaned out that's a pass.
What will be done once you go back to the customer/builder with what you’ve found on the brick work?
F all.

Shocking
Timber frame
Lol
Persimmon homes 100%
Looks like it, Taylor wimpy and bovis are equally shit as well
Well, if you found one, I’m sure they all are fake weep vents. These people need to be held accountable for the shitty work that they are doing.
Fake weep vents? ALL OF THEM

Yes, then where are the checks on the timber frame?
@@whirled_peas They don't get checked. That's why they're crap
