  • We know how distressing it can be when your dog has anxiety or is afraid. With ‘fireworks season’ becoming longer and less predictable, managing your fearful pet is more challenging than ever. The good news is that there are steps you can take to help. Our Dorwest Scullcap & Valerian Tablets and Valerian Compound naturally relax your pet without causing drowsiness. This is great for keeping your dog calmer around the fireworks season. Best results are seen when used alongside gentle and consistent behavioural training, such as noise desensitisation programmes, allowing a sense of calm in your household during fireworks.

Hi my name's Charlotte and I'm the owner of Kiba and Therru over from @tailsfromearthsea. A lot of dogs display fearful behaviour during fireworks season and unfortunately Kiba fits into this category.
A stressed dog will react to fireworks by whining or excessive barking, shaking or trembling, tail tucked in between their legs, pacing and being restless and hiding or trying to escape.
I prepare Kiba for fireworks night by exercising him early and putting him on the lead during evening toilet breaks. I also use the Dorwest Scullcap and Valerian Tablets 2 weeks prior to Fireworks Night. I also put on a dog calming playlist on Spotify.
They also have their own cosy corner built under the stairs. A cosy, small private space will give them a safe and comfy place to retreat to if they're feeling anxious
