"Destructor de Guerreros" es un bloque cuya First Ascent (FA) hizo Roberto Palmer en 2013. Posteriormente, y ya hace unos años, partió una regleta clave en el paso duro del boulder y desde entonces cuenta con muy pocas repeticiones debido al aumento en su dificultad. En mi primera sesión, hace algo más de un año, me lesioné un dedo en este bloque, lo que me dejó en dique seco más de 4 meses. Fueron meses duros para mi. No obstante tenía pendiente volver y decidí ir un día el pasado mes de marzo. La segunda sesión fue psicologicamente muy difícil, tenía miedo de volver a lesionarme y me rayé muchísimo al recordar viejos fantasmas. Ese día escalé 30 minutos y decidí cambiar de bloque y relajarme mentalmente. Un mes después, y tras hacer el FA de "Stay Gold" 8B (otro bloque de la zona) volví por tercera vez. Esta vez estaba mucho más relajado y con mejores sensaciones. El día era caluroso, pero pude hacerlo y cerrar el círculo de una manera feliz, muy diferente a como empezó.
Por mi parte doy por finalizada la temporada en Bayuela. Toca buscar lugares menos calurosos para estas fechas."

"Destructor de Guerreros" is a boulder whose First Ascent (FA) was made by Roberto Palmer in 2013. Subsequently, and a few years ago, it broke a crimp in the crux and since then it has had very few repetitions due to the increase in its difficulty. In my first session, a little over a year ago, I injured a finger on this boulder, which left me without climbing for more than 4 months. These were hard months for me. However, I had yet to return and decided to go one day last March. The second session was psychologically very difficult, I was afraid of re-injuring myself and I got very scratched remembering old ghosts. That day I climbed for 30 minutes and decided to change of bloulder and relax mentally. A month later, and after doing the FA of "Stay Gold" 8B (another boulder in the area) I returned for the third time. This time I was much more relaxed and had better feelings. The day was hot, but I was able to send it and close the circle in a happy way, very different from how it started.
For my part, I conclude the season in Bayuela. "It's time to look for less hot places for these dates."
