- We recreate the iconic McRib sandwich, but with a smoky twist! In this video, we're using a Pit Boss Vertical Smoker to cook up a succulent slab of baby back ribs. Here's what you'll need: 1 slab of baby back ribs, 1 sliced onion to add that extra zing, your favorite buns, crispy pickles, a savory BBQ rub, and luscious BBQ sauce to tie it all together.
We start by smoking the ribs in the Pit Boss at a steady 275°F (135°C), infusing them with that unbeatable smoky aroma. After 3 hours, we carefully wrap them in foil and transfer them to the oven. Cooked at 325°F (163°C), we continue until the meat is so tender that the bones just slide out.
Once the ribs are boneless and bursting with flavor, we assemble our sandwiches. Toasted buns, a layer of smoky meat, topped with crunchy onions and pickles, and a generous drizzle of BBQ sauce. Very interesting. Besides your McRibs the Browns won. I sold my PBV3 and am waiting delivery of my new Copperhead Onyx, PBV4. The beer you used really doesn't hurt. The heat evaporates the alcohol and the beer ingredients enhances the flavor of the beer. I was nice to know what your smoke temp then raising to 375. I'm going to try that.

I've done a ton of family gathering catering this year, i do the prep and smoking at my house, and finish at my sisters (her place is better for hosting) and finishing in the oven is fantastic, being able to rest before you sear is the way. Did a 7lb prime rib roast for thanksgiving, a ham for Christmas, a whole chicken last night, and i've got a pork shoulder for tomorrow. I've got an LG 7 series vertical i bought in early 2019 that i have over 1000 cooks on.

I don't think the Mike rib was ever rubbed me. I think me and my wife watched a documentary on it. I'm sure your taste a lot better than McDonald's because it's actually rib meat.
