Being creeped out by these videos but also laughing hysterically at Jack's commentary is a weird combo. Also, "He's being a tyrannosaurus!" was definitely my favorite part.
Just so everyone knows, the Smiling Man is a CreepyPasta that a lot of people have adapted into short films. The presence of an actor as the titular Smiling Man is a little goofy, but the original concept and story is actually pretty unsettling.
Yes I just commented on this myself! I read that creepypasta years ago, and to this day it’s one of the only written stories that had actually evoked a feeling of terror in me. Having the actor sort of takes away from the experience imo
Yeah that ringing was almost enough for me to decide not to watch the video, but I just muted it for a bit and powered through it. That kind of sound is probably the one thing that ruins an experience for me, whether it's a video or a game or anything like that.
Fun fact: The Smiling Man is based on a myth from the Midwest in the USA, most reports of seeing him is in Iowa, and he only comes out late at night. I'm pretty sure the Infographics Show channel covered the Urban Legend
I know I'm late as hell to this, but I just looked this guy up. The version of him in this video that Jack saw appears to be based off of the Creepypasta version. Though the wiki says that in all instances, he's not necessarily 'harmful'. So I guess that's comforting. Sort of.
That last short, when he reveals he's a ghost, hit me really hard. If you think about it, it makes sense why he was so eager to talk to her. He's dead. Nobody talks to him. It's unlikely many people go to that bus stop. It was a really sad ending, at least in the way I interpreted it.
Fun Fact: The short film Polaroid was later turned into a full length movie of the same name which was released in 2019 after being delayed multiple times. the short film Lights Out was also based on a shortfilm of the same name. The movie even had one of the scenes from the short recreated.
I've seen both full length ones and they were not that great. As a short one they might've worked a lot better, but adding another 60+ minutes to it just ruined the atmosphere for me.
6:05 "Service industry is actually very hard it's very stressful so be nice to them" Thank you for mentioning that, being yelled at as a server is not fun at all from my experience.
As a young women, but also a lover of scary things, that last short film about the bus stop was terrifying and accurate (in terms of how a girl would feel towards the situation). I loved the twist at the end!
Fun fact:the Smiling Man is somewhat of a real urban legend. He is mostly found late at night in desolate rural areas or areas where there aren’t any people walking around.
Its a very basic scary thing because of horror movies and stuff. Anything showing its teeth is kindov instinctive to be danger. And someone smiling unnecessarily wpuld appear to have mental illness so its scary. Idk why i said that but im posting it anyways.
It's the Creak Monster, if you hear a creak and don't check on it, scaring away the monster, it gets closer and closer, creaking it's way towards you until you eyes creak shut and you never wake up again. Not to be confused with the Creek Monster which lives in creeks or the Creakit Monster which makes a creak at night to draw you in then eats your face.
"Why do people in these things never have a brain?" You'd be surprised Sean. If you look up some irl stories of people in scary or potentially dangerous situations lots of them act just like this.
I hear a bump in the night and I’m like “Let’s go exploring” because I need to make sure everything is okay. But I still yell at people just like me in horror movies Edit: I hear stuff in the night more often than not so my stupidity is a common occurrence
My guess is that people without brains in horror pictures like these are often a reflection of society. Some of them have even lived in and worked from a big white house in our nation's capital, and we can't do anything about it for a period of four to eight years.
@@jamie3455 I have a wooden sword near my bed that I got on a trip to a town with a castle nearby. I know, it's supposed to be for children so they can pretend, but it has surprisingly good balance, like actually close to a real thing so I got it as a souvenir, instead of some stupid shit and I happen to practice some basic HEMA stuff with it. Anyways, whenever I'm alone in the house and hear something in the night, I always forget about it and go downstairs without anything at all, when I could go downstairs with something that could scare someone in the dark or be used for some good whacking if it comes to worst. Stupidity is a really common thing when it comes to possibly dangerous situations.
I understand a character being terrified and panicking so they just freeze up, but its a whole new level when its more like "oh my god there's a blood trail leading to the basement door at midnight in this old house I just bought, I'm sure that if I follow it that nothing bad will happen!" It's like the guy in the first video we watched who had the polaroid camera, if you take a picture and there's a ghost in it, JUST GET OUT OF THERE and DON'T TAKE ANOTHER PICTURE!
Depending on what universe you live in it gets 100 times worse if you break the mirror. Situation one:Each shard will have a demon in it. Situation two: The demon escapes from the mirror. Situation three: The demon moves to one or more other mirrors. This was safety tips from a horror movie veteran.
If anyone's confused about the mirror smashing the the 2nd one, the generally known way to banish a demon is to make it see itself in a mirror. That will make it trapped in the mirror universe after you break it.
Wow. I need to do this. It’s hard when you’re paralyzed tho. Sleep paralysis demons anyone? They dont come back as often anymore thank god but oof. My poor sanity sometimes

As someone who read the creepypasta "The Smiling Man", it's so nice to see a short film adaptation. I didn't know if it'd look good on live action but I'm glad it worked :D
There’s something about brightly lit horror stories that are just infinitely more terrifying, and honestly, good for those who can terrify people while it’s bright
I believe one reason as to why it is more terrifying is that it operates on the norms of negative space horror in that it completely subverts our expectations. Light is often associated with the thought of safety and warm. For example you would normally feel safe sitting by a campfire in the woods. When it’s light we believe we will be safe and well. Considering the majority of horror operates on a set norms people often will adopt them as to what to expect when in a scenario that is unnerving, unsettling, or even terrifying. Whether it is in real life or fiction we’ll normally adopt a degree of caution and likely get unnerved when we enter a dark place since darkness has been so associated with horror. Since we have associated norms with both the light and the dark, day and night, we wouldn’t necessarily be used to when our expectations based off of our associated norms are subverted and twisted in a way which we are not used to them. That is why whenever there is a scenario where it is day or in a brightly lit setting that something creepy happens that it likely feels more terrifying and or unnerving depending on the person. It’s incredible as you say for horror stories that maintain brightly lit settings as they are really effective in producing that sense of horror. In a way it also operates on a psychological level again because it completely 180s our expectations. We know now that the life isn’t safe in that scenario and yet it still could be while also not being. Again another reason why it is very much a negative space horror since it will operate on our expectations and then either confirm for us or deny for us what we are expecting. Sometimes it can be a mixture of both.
"Dead the whole time" might be a bit of a cliche, but it's admittedly one of my favorites! I liked the way the bus story did it. It takes talent to make you feel so many things in such a short time.
For some reason all horror shorts just have insanely good acting and characters, it's amazing especially how they include the "flight, fight or freeze" response to fear and its really well done
Hey Jack - for "The Smiling Man" that was actually one of the OG Creepypastas, one of the very first real classic short pastas to come out of the community. And it's based on actual events, which is just all the more creepy. It's one of my favorites.
It really wasn't; the original iteration of it was on /r/letsnotmeet which is a relatively new addition to creepypasta culture. Even the SCP foundation is older
That last one was def the scariest, having been in similar situations myself and having read so many police rpts about assault, I really felt that fear n anxiety. The moment it was revealed he was a ghost, I had a huge sigh of relief and wasn't scared anymore. That really says something about how, as Sean said, real life situations like this are way scarier than demons.
Yeah, my reaction when she knelt to help the man was "don't, DON'T, dude could be faking it to abduct you!" Says a lot about the fkd up world we live in, empathy might actually diminish your chances of survival
There's a similar movie which I believe is can't don't blink? Either of Netflix or Amazon prime. It was really good! If I remember to come back in the am I'll find it for you :)
It IS called Don't Blink (2014)!! It was on Netflix but may not be where you live. There aren't any answers at the end just spoooooooooky silence but it's so good, would recommend 👍🏻
the last one, even though he was so scary, he was literaly just a ghost trying to be as friendly as his mentally troubled state allowed him to. He didnt even chasse her or blame her. And most of all, he didnt intentionally scare her. He was just there. It was creepy as well as kinda wholesome.
I agree. And it doesn't look like that bus stop is in a heavy traffic area or near buildings, so I imagine not a lot of people go there. He's always there, all by himself. He's desperate for someone to talk to. And you can tell he's not a bad person because, yeah he's can be forward about wanting to talk to her, but he's not making sexual calls at her or calling her names because he things she thinks too high of herself for him. He's just talking about what's been goin on with him and just trying to start a conversation. And when he reveal himself as dead, it didn't come off as him trying to scare her. It's just what happened and he lets her know that it's all alright. She's alright because she's safe, and he's alright because there's nothing she can do and has been there for a long time to be use to it. It's such a short video, but it delivers a lot through the acting and writing. I love it
@@pinkkkkkkkkk that wasn't really a hit on more than telling a rude joke to himself, atleast that's how I see it. His ghost is at the cycle where he's fresh drunk and high on pills so I can let it slip as not thinking about what he's saying. The reason I don't take it even more so that he's not trying to hit on her is that he didn't really do much of that afterwards. Once he switches sides of the street, he's back to being a normal friendly dude.
@@pinkkkkkkkkk more proof that he's a decent guy is that he's been there for years, yet the memorial is still well kept. People must really have cared for him for some to come back and spruce it up with good flowers again.
Jack is 100% correct, Literally every protagonist in a horror situation always does things that will eventually get them killed. If I was in that situation I would jump out the window, fight them and maybe kill them. I’m just outta there.
Seems like it's some sort of unspoken rule for that type of thing. In horror universe, horror films somehow don't exists. Just as in any zombie universe, zombie comics or films don't seem to exist either and all the characters are clueless.
Will you really tho? I mean you will not know until you actually experience it.. fear is a thing, and it alters your decision making.. thats why some people just froze when in dangerous situation..
@@justsaying6632 It's more things like, for example, in a zombie show, seeing guys waste a ton of ammo in a zombie's chest while understanding it doesn't work, and still doing it anyway. There a basic logic and self-preservation instinct that seems to not exist in characters from those and horror stuff.
same for example the first film with the camera if i was in that situation id probably go "what the fucking hell ima out leave" and probably throw the camera away after burning it. and just to be safe ima barricade that room
Those creepy stories are awesome. It would be interesting to see the Sixes in a short horror. And also now seeing this creepypasta in a film, I think is the Sims Strangerville crazies. (Sigh) "Cőmę ťö ţhə çŕāťęr."
Just read it after seeing this comment. It was...okay. Kind of a creepy situation I guess, but I've never been impressed with those Nothing Happens(tm) creepypastas, they just feel like unfinished concepts to me.
I'd love to see a series with that family being hunted by the demon. Something the awkward acting between all three of them is intriguing- I'd love to watch episodes of them dealing with a variety of different demons while every single episode ends with the mysterious "mother" character arriving.
It would’ve been cool if the mother for the second film’s eyes were gouged out/she was blinded - signifying both this isn’t the first time he attacked and they didn’t know what to do back then. It would’ve been a nice touch and caused an understanding to what happened.
That last one went from creepy to horror to sad. Just think about the fact that when it really happened there was no one around to get concerned. That's true horror.
21:27 my health teacher went over this once, if someone sketchy as hell suddenly collapses don’t check on them, they’re most likely collapsing so you get closer and are easier to assault
Which is a valid response tbh like I’m so sick of every horror movie the flight or fight response being flight I want just one where the characters just absolutely beat the shit out of the monster
I just love that he takes his time to get an intro that introduces you to the video your gonna watch and let’s you get ready for it! Great content creator really great
I would love to see a horror film where the protagonist does everything right and is incredibly smart and resourceful but they still can’t get away from the demon/intruder/etc... I think that would be truly terrifying - knowing that you’ve done everything you possibly can, but you still can’t escape
The smiling man was a creepy pasta. It was a pretty good one because I remember it. People moving in strange ways is absolutely hair-raising. It's that uncanny valley thing.
Less than 5 minutes in and watching Sean give the viewers a stern talking to about what you should do when there's a demon around, like a concerned father was amazing!
Smiling man has been one of my favorite Creepy Pasta forever. I’ve seen some other stabs at short films/animations I like a bit better, but this one was great too. Definitely give it a read if you enjoy spooky stuff like this
@@hotbread1004 Dude is walking home at 2am because nighttime walks to the store are a habit of his. During the night, he notices a man slow waltzing at him, looking up at the sky, with a painfully wide grin on his face. Upon noticing him, broski’s like “yeah nah” and walks across the street, turns his back (assuming the guy is drunk or smth) and continues his walk. When he turns back, the smiling man is now perfectly still, looking like hes attempted to cross the street directly to him, still smiling horribly at the sky. He keeps walking, watching him as he is perfectly still until he feels comfortable enough to look away and check out the path ahead. Within the maybe 5-10 seconds he took to glance away from the smiling man then look back, he was now across the road, hunched down, which meant he had to have moved quickly. After staring at the smiling man in shock, he slowly gets up, and starts cartoonishly tip toeing towards him, very exaggerated movements (what jack called t-rex), but moving at a steady pace. Frozen in fear, he watches the smiling man grow near until he stops. The dude whimpers a “What”, and keeps watching him, the smiling man just stands there, smiling at the sky. After a tense period of time, the smiling man turns around and starts dancing away again. He watched until he had left his sight and assumed he was safe. Until he noticed him coming back, growing bigger, no longer dancing, but sprinting full speed at him. Dude runs away and gets home safe in the actual creepypasta and claims that since then (6mths ago) he hasn’t seen anything as utterly horrifying as that.
@@blissabysmalism7813 huh interesting, it reminds me of another creepypasta i heard of a while back, maybe it was the same one, where someone was doing some weird shit on the side walk and the guy crossed the street but like crossing the street made the creepy dude angry or something

Yes I used to be the most easy to scare person, only seeing the picture of an old doll wouldn't allow me to sleep for months And then I found out about real life Why be afraid of scary games and movies? They're just pixels on a screen, ones and zeros, they can't hurt you, it's all make believe, but people, they can hurt you, when you can be afraid of murderers kidnappers rapists and muggers, why be afraid of a possessed doll or a ghost? When what's just outside my door is far more dangerous and terrifying, pixels can't hurt you people can.
@@EduardoMartinez-rs3bu now you're just exagerating, the guy's just trying to be understanding, i mean i totally agree with your views, but trying to turn on men when they're actually trying to understand us isn't helping
I love this series, partially because horror is so cool, and partially because me and my boyfriend watch these together sometimes, so they remind me of him
That "Smiling Man" one got to me, especially in the first half. Even though he wasn't really doing anything threatening to start with, something about people behaving erratically for no reason makes me unreasonably freaked out. Like, you don't know what's going on in that dude's world or what kind of drugs he's on. At least if they're blatantly being creepy you know what they're trying to do; all logic has left that guy, for all you know he thinks you're some kind of monster and tries to kill you and eat your face or some shit.
I love horror stuff that makes you say, "Wait, what?" and The Smiling Man was one of the first, big creepypastas I read that really had that kind of "WTF" factor.
oh my gosh i remember the first one from so long ago!!! it was one of the first videos i watched that led to my venturing further into my fascination of the paranormal
Jack: *perfect explains the quantum demon and the way it’s going to work as it unfolds* Also Jack: says he has NO IDEA what happened and can’t explain it 😂😂😂
Wow. That last one was really, REALLY good. I went from having a panic attack (I've experienced creepers either on or at the bus stop at night going home from work), to honestly feeling so sad at the end. What a good short video
I loved the last two. The acting going on with the smiling man was very Jim Carrey like, kind of crazy, but in a way that is just really well done and over the top in a good way. The last one had that insane twist to it, really well done as well. You know, it started out as just some creeper striking up really odd conversation and I was thinking to myself "lady, you better have the police on speed dial, things are looking like they might get ugly" and then it turned out like that. As for placing the last one, I kind of got the sense that it was somewhere in the UK with their accents, but I am not confident enough in placing each of the accents found in the UK to try and make a guess as to where they were supposed to be from or where the actors are from.
Last one is the epiphany of "humans are scarier then any monster" Him being a ghost wasnt the scary part. Just another person being there while you're alone with them was the scary part. And not even a malicious person. Just another person.
Anyone else laughing that the first short Jack says “don’t take a picture of a demon” and then his smart solution for the second short was to “take a picture of it” 🤣🤣🤣 I love you Jack
3:42: that is SCP-106 AKA the old man. 106 is a person who is said to be a ww1 soldier who encountered a anomaly on the battle field turning him into 106. If someone is in distress or pain he will take them into a pocket dimension and brutally kill them those unlucky to be alive afterwards will endure broken bones and wounds and will most likely die from their injuries. The femur breaker was used to contain 106.
Someone who noticed finally! The first time I heard it was when i watched Llama arts when they used Mr Nightmares podcasts for his animations :D Might I also add is that in this short film he says "what the hell do you want?" The original was "What the f*ck do you want?" They probably changed it in this version due to profanity
There's a Korean romantic show called "let's fight ghosts" where in the first episode the dude that can see ghosts absolutely decks a ghost trying to haunt him in the face. There you go Jack, we aim to please.
I love how in the last one you think it's about the girl and that something is going to happen to her, but it turns around completely and even hints to it with one of the dudes first lines being "Lucky for some, I've been here for years" (or something like that, it was a little hard to understand for me) It's really good story telling when you cant see the end coming but if you pay attention to the little details it makes sense
He says something along the lines of "lucky for some, fucking mickey mouse buses here and there feels like I've been here for years" Without knowing the ending you'd think he means that he's just been waiting there a while, but once you know the context it's unsettling
I was like "oh no...sexual trafficking story" in the beginning, and I slowly was like "yo...this guy alright? Is something else goin on?" And surely, yes! Something else was going on. Less creepy than frankly sad in the end tbh
I had a feeling he wasn't real because his vomit had disappeared after the bus left. Sure, could have been an editing choice, but I'm glad I noticed it.
I love how Jacksepticeye said this, “This is actually scary…to be a girl walking home alone at nighttime.” I applaud u Jack for noticing!! I can tell ur a gentleman
Honestly watching Jacksepticeye and 8bitRyan has made my mind normalised to all the weird intros these two youtubers do all the time. The effort both of these dudes take for intros damn.
Jack talking about punching the smiling man in the face just brought back memories of me instinctively shoving an actor before getting into a haunted house because he got up in my face. I felt so embarrassed and awful about it. Had no idea I'd react that way. 😂 I've since gone to a couple other haunted houses and can inhibit my fight response, but man, it's strong.
I worked as a scare actor for 4-5 years in a haunted house. We had a very clear rule to NEVER touch the guests, as it will trigger some people's fight or flight response, and you might get decked in the face. If a character "had" to touch a guest, they'd always invite the guest to touch them or take their hand, but never force it. Although we did have a few "Extreme" nights where we were allowed to touch and grab the guests, and we still had an actor that ended up with a broken nose.

Jack: You call that running? Put some speed in it! Me: absolutely agree Jack-a-boi. If that was me, I would fkn launch into the atmosphere from sheer adrenaline and inhabit another planet.
A personal rule I have when it comes to videos like these is "If something happens that cause a supernatural reaction, just don't do it again then the out come will never happen" Also "Don't Look Away" is such an amazing concept for a horror film

Yeah I feel like the narration of that story is what really sold it. The story it's self was definitely scarier then that short film even without the animation.
Thank you for saying: "Okay, this is actually scary... to be a girl walking home alone at nighttime." I have way more male than female friends and it took them a while to understand that. Smiling Man went from a Creepy pasta story to narrated story to animated, to a game and horror shorts. Some creepy pastas are just awful but the good ones have spawned into such great things: SCP, games, tv series, one of the most disturbing stories I've ever read that had nothing supernatural happening though the reveal makes you wish that there was.
@@tt-cy1hb In hindsight it might not be a creepy pasta but creepy pasta was where I first encountered it. "Borrasca" is the name. It's a novella series and a bit of a read. If you don't have time there's a few narrations, not sure about dramatizations, but a sorta but not exactly animated video.

Jack: "If I hear one creak at nighttime I'm just gonna stay in bed"
Jack's cat: Oh come on man I'm just trying to get some snacks
It's the Creak Monster, if you hear a creak and don't check on it, scaring away the monster, it gets closer and closer, creaking it's way towards you until you eyes creak shut and you never wake up again.
Not to be confused with the Creek Monster which lives in creeks or the Creakit Monster which makes a creak at night to draw you in then eats your face.

"Why do people in these things never have a brain?"
You'd be surprised Sean. If you look up some irl stories of people in scary or potentially dangerous situations lots of them act just like this.
Its the panic that stops people thinking clearly
I hear a bump in the night and I’m like “Let’s go exploring” because I need to make sure everything is okay. But I still yell at people just like me in horror movies
Edit: I hear stuff in the night more often than not so my stupidity is a common occurrence

Hey Jack - for "The Smiling Man" that was actually one of the OG Creepypastas, one of the very first real classic short pastas to come out of the community. And it's based on actual events, which is just all the more creepy. It's one of my favorites.
one of my favorite creepypasta!
Same here! If you like scary reddit stories youd seriously love RezTKF its a horribly underrated channel but it def deserves more love
Oh yes the creepypasta good old days
I mean, no it isn't.
This was exactly my situation as well. I was RELIEVED to see it was a ghost. Kind of f'd up if you think about it

Even better, he multiplies into millions by the end of the movie.
It also is kind of similar to it follows.
The bus stop one never fails to give me chills. So well done!
the last one, even though he was so scary, he was literaly just a ghost trying to be as friendly as his mentally troubled state allowed him to.
I love it

@@Ormonrose yeah, but ive seen all the other ones loll

@@Ormonrose that’s fair!! sorry if that upset ya. hope you have a nice day :)
@@acrkerven you too
I love how in the last one you think it's about the girl and that something is going to happen to her, but it turns around completely and even hints to it with one of the dudes first lines being "Lucky for some, I've been here for years" (or something like that, it was a little hard to understand for me) It's really good story telling when you cant see the end coming but if you pay attention to the little details it makes sense
@@Moondragon1821 i also noticed that the first time around and thought it was a weird editing mistake
I love how Jacksepticeye said this, “This is actually scary…to be a girl walking home alone at nighttime.”
I applaud u Jack for noticing!! I can tell ur a gentleman
"I'm in your house right now."
Jack, you know damn well that everybody here would LOVE that.
I dunno why but your “ooo he’s doing the tyrannosaurus” had me in fits and I just got moaned at by my husband for laughing too much lol 😂
Me too mine is asleep beside me and I woke him up laughing at the tyrannosaurus part 🤣
Yah v y

Honestly watching Jacksepticeye and 8bitRyan has made my mind normalised to all the weird intros these two youtubers do all the time. The effort both of these dudes take for intros damn.
🤓🤓
SAME I LOVE THEIR CONTENT
Absolutely
@@crownclowncreations Are there any legal concequences? Genuinely curious.
I went one that was hands on and you had to wear a specific wristband if you didn't want to get touched 😭
10:54 dad tells them just to look at it and she decided to put tape on it. not only that, she looked away to make a phone call when you can literally hold it up next to the thing. SMH, my brain hurts so much
as someone who works in the service industry i’d like to thank Jack for acknowledging that the service industry is hard and you should try to be nice. Honestly, i could be having a shit night and as soon as someone thanks me or tells me i’m doing a good job, it really means alot
Good work man, keep doing you I’m proud of you! It’s hard work but you got this!

Speed is key when trying to get away from a creepy smiling man
6:20 *squints at the lawn* wait a minute... THAT GRASS HAS ALREADY BEEN MOWED
A personal rule I have when it comes to videos like these is "If something happens that cause a supernatural reaction, just don't do it again then the out come will never happen"
Also "Don't Look Away" is such an amazing concept for a horror film
You might like "Other Side of the Box" by Altar. I don't normally like Altar shorts but this one was pretty good, uses the "don't look away" concept.
I’m telling you Jack’s intros on these videos can soon succeed on Markiplier’s 3 Scary Games intros.
Apparently I can hear dog whistles.
Neat
Anyone who's ever been on sicial media can hear dogwhistles tbh

if there is one thing that stops me from shitting myself during these vids; its Sean's great attitude.
Oh god I remember watching the animated version of the smiling man and hearing the original person telling it and I was terrified to go out alone after that- also Jack! Please keep making these videos, we love them! And I hope you’ve been having an awesome week!
Yeah I know that’s exactly what i thought of watching it lol
Yeah I feel like the narration of that story is what really sold it. The story it's self was definitely scarier then that short film even without the animation.
"This is actually scarier than if it was just demons"
The quote really speaks for itself.
Jack, you should do a series on crypt TV. I think it's be cool to watch you react to more content of theirs

"Hi I've been trying to reach you to talk about your cars extended warranty"
Thank you for saying: "Okay, this is actually scary... to be a girl walking home alone at nighttime." I have way more male than female friends and it took them a while to understand that. They were often like "Oh, this city is safe, nothing's gonna happen here..." but since I explained this feeling to them and told them about some creepy situations I had when walking home alone at night, they're way more understanding and always text me to ask if I got home safely. 💚
Right?! His face throughout shows how real he is with real world problems
Period. I often take the bus but I would NEVER wear a skirt on a day (or NIGHT) I take the bus like the woman in the video did, which says a lot in itself.
@@laurenmortimer2633 how is that a real world problem? There is no solution aside from avoiding late night walks and creepy men and women. Assuming they are creepy to you. It could be someone you know.
We have the technology needed for you guys to even the playing field, ie pepper spray, firearms, tasers, etc.
Instead we hear you guys bitch and moan about things we can't do anything about because we can't be by your side all the time. Even if we were, we could also become victims.
Stop complaining about this and just kick their ass with the wonderful benefits of modern self defense technology... Everyone, even men, could benefit from this advice.
Instead of complaining men need a curfew, that you need discrimination to keep yourself safe, how about you assert your independence and just have the right tools on hand? I feel like most creepy dudes would probably stop being creepy if the majority of their victims were packing a self defense weapon.
Save yourself.
@@burnttoast.2017 why are you so mad bro, no need to write a whole essay lmao
@@snethies because I'm tired of women just dealing with being scared at night, complaining about it on the internet expecting pity points. The city is dangerous for everyone, because so many are there.
Just get the items needed to defend yourself. It isn't that hard.
What is that story called? If you think it's too disturbing to share with people, please don't sweat answering!
@@tt-cy1hb It's from Reddit from the
"/nosleep" or "let'snotmeet" forum called "Smiling Man" or something.
21:50 she prob be like: hello are you a demon can you fly me back to me house???
Imagine how much scarier scary videos/movies would be if the main characters actually had a brain AND were still in a scary situation? That last video was cool, though.
you havent watched enough horror flicks if you havent ever seen smart characters
Jack: “Let’s watch The Smiling Man.”
Jack after watching it: “That wasn’t very happy.”
14:54 - 15:13 I absolutely love Sean's lighthearted approach to horror. It makes me feel more comfortable.
The one with the man on the street being followed was a story that circulated the internet back a few years ago! It’s cool to see it in video form. I recognized the scenario right away.
Jack, if you want a scary-ish, spooky video watch “SCP:096” it’s a short film about the first breach of 096
Edit: just realises the smiling dancing man is based off a video from Animated Horror Stories about a dancing man that has an unusually big smile that dances before sprinting at people, I love that recreation
096 is a great short film
The smiling man is an old school creepy pasta story, it holds up pretty well too.
Jack, you’ve truly gotten me through the toughest times, when I had family and dad troubles, when I had to go to court. I would watch your videos all the time and it would always make me feel much better, I don’t know if you’re even gonna read this, I just wanted to put it out there. So thank you, Jack.
