My mage is still in the middle of fixing but I decided to do this anyways. New skills are hella great. Now staff mages are no longer rotting away in the background.
@@reybarracuda2514 it was because mostly physical classes can prepare really quickly and get into the fight, whilst mages needed longer to prepare and require careful planning to work well, which meant its expensive. Mages now though have gotten a big catch up thanks to these new buffs
Alternating Between Magic Knife and auto attack to circumvent lvl10 Magic Knife canceling it self was very smart, Now I don't feel like I wasted 5sp lol Why do you not use M.Crash ? with the new chain cast buff I find it much more comfortable to use.
Crash is not a great option with dex substat. Just going Burst all the way is better Although Crash can be a great asset in party play. I don't have the sp tho XD
You're so strong, I'm still newbie and this boss reminds me when fighting in mainquest is hard to Dodge the aoe even in easy mode, but after fight against Gemma this looks like easier.
Int dex mages has lowered qadal accumulation rate. With 250 dex there are times I can actually use 4th cast, but lucky instance. Three casts is the usual limit.
Impact > Magic Burst (smite) > Magic Knife (can use any tags, I use invincible as a filler) DPS Combo, also for dodging aoes using Burst invincibility mechanic. Ad Lib > Magic Cannon (smite) This combo is for charging, not releasing. Overlimit > Prayer (save) > Finale (smite) Basic buffing combo Exorcism > Nemesis (smite) > Impact (save) > Element Slash (mind's eye) > Finale (smite) Nemesis release combo, use when target won't move. That's all the combos I used here.

@@hid1ez yes, my 8.1k is with all buffs including overlimit. Cast mastery should completely cancel the penalties and overlimit is too good to pass.
