I stayed at this resort in 2012...we were at the Maya Beach...we were able to access all of the 5 resorts and I remember Palace being the most posh...the beaches were amazing and the nightly entertainment was the best...loved, loved this resort and really want to go back someday...the food was also top notch...felt safe and the staff were so pleasant...too bad Elizabeth didn't make it...glad you enjoyed your trip...I did the same as you Bill, up early and walking and exploring all the different resorts...The birds were amazing and the gardens were immaculate.
i think i would prefer all-inclusive because i stress about tipping/not tipping, too much/too little of a tip. a lap pool that actually has open lanes, that is paradise. beautiful images.
I think they limited you to five days because anymore beauty and luxury would spoil you for life!

I am unable to walk due to copd. I went to cancun with one change of planes. The airline escort wheeled me right through. It was so easy. Elizabeth should try it. The resort also accommoded me.

I forgot about the trip! Kept checking new uploads and was wondering! 🙏 That Barcelo Maya Palace Resort is LOVELY! Cancun is too crowded these days so I was glad when you said about an hour's drive. Funny on that shower! So glad you made the trip! Wow Bill! You'd never eaten LAMB before? (My husband and I love it so much we eat it at least once a week! - Glad you enjoyed it! You can find nice chops in Walmart every now and then!)

I'm a bit surprised to see so few people around, especially in those amazing pools.
I'm an early morning person. Most of my video was shot in the morning when there weren't many people up yet! LOL Later in the day, and into the evening, the pools become party central. Though it wasn't rowdy, it was MUCH busier.
I also noticed that in the afternoon, when you first arrived.
Go on Bill! Just soak your toes in the water!

I like smaller, more snug places. I like kids, but wherever you went I heard a crying yelling child. No thanks! The pools were amazing for sure. Great experience.

I was just there last week - second week in November. But the low crowds that you see happened mostly because I film early in the morning while most people are still in bed. It wasn’t that empty later in the day.

Elizabeth is such a sweet heart ❤️ you're very kind too. You both make me smile and give me hope. I really wish I had a stable loving relationship like the two of you. Cancun. What a beautiful resort!🌴🏖️ 🌴 🐬 My Mom n step dad went there some 20 years ago, he has since passed away. Your friends from Thrive were charming. If I had to choose, I would have ordered the rack of lamb 🐑 (hv made with spicy mint marmalade and rosemary potatoes). Loved the guitarist, what talent! I'm sure you had a blast with all the amenities n beautiful sights 🌞

Hi Bill Here in Canada as I understand it were not permitted to travel on planes trains bus ect without the vax. To your knowledge what is the requirements down their in the USA?
No such requirement. Millions of Americans have refused the vax. And the vax is not required for re-entry into the USA after traveling abroad. It’s not required for travel to/from Mexico
Since Elizabeth was ill and could not go, did you consider taking your grandson, (the one that helped with the flip house)?
Yes, we actually tried. But he didn’t have a passport, and it now takes a RIDICULOUSLY long time to get one! He couldn’t get it in time.

Yes, we travel a lot together -at least 3 times per year with Thrive Life. We have a “Travel” playlist.
I looked it up and many people complain about not getting their free shipping over $100 order. Have they straightened that out yet?
I have watched Shannon Watts videos. She was so highly addictive to that Thrive stuff and went on every free vacation. Thrive also got her in debt..
Are you sure you're talking about THRIVE LIFE? First, you have to be a leading consultant to be able to earn one of their trips. I personally know all of the leading consultants. I've been on the trip every year for the past 6 years, and I've never heard of Shannon Watts.
And "highly addicted?" Thrive Life is not addictive - it's just groceries!
Also, I don't know how someone could "get into debt" with Thrive Life. It doesn't cost anything to be a consultant, except the $100 consutlant starter kit and a minimum $50/month personal order! Consultants do not have to stock up on inventory. All sales are shipped directly from the company to the customer.
The one Shannon Watts was doing is “Thrive by Le-Vel.” This “Thrive” is totally different.
Yes, apparently Thrive by Le-vel is a weight loss patch? I don’t know much about it. My company, Thrive Life, is a provider of premium freeze dried groceries.

I was going to cancel. But She absolutely INSISTED that I go without her. It made her upset to think that I would miss the trip because she was ill.

That thrive is so expensive. And the thrive products I read about, it sounds to me it ain't very good for you.
There are many ways to preserve food, and freeze drying is THE healthiest way!

And Thrive Life food is actually CHEAPER than the grocery store!
Comparing the cost of Thrive Life straight across to grocery store prices will almost always SEEM like Thrive costs more. BUT, there is one major component to the formulae that almost everyone misses. It's spoilage. Waste. According to a Harvard study, the average family throws away 25-40% of the food that they purchase, due to spoilage. Either it spoils in the fridge before they can use it, or they cook too much and then throw away the leftovers 2 weeks later.
THE MOST EXPENSIVE FOOD YOU CAN BUY IS THE FOOD THAT YOU THROW AWAY! And Thrive Life completely eliminates waste!
So you need to realize that you must ADD at least 25% to the cost of grocery store food if you want to compare it to the cost of Thrive! Since you will throw away 25% of grocery store food, you have to buy 25% MORE. This makes the cost of Thrive comparable or even CHEAPER than the grocery store.
Then, add in the extra convenience and the better nutritional content of Thrive food, and it becomes a no-brainer. Why doesn't everyone buy Thrive?! LOL
Most people look at the cost of individual servings in order to compare prices. And like I said, this ignores the spoilage issue. The better way to compare cost is to look at the amount that you spend on groceries on a MONTHLY basis. People who track their monthly grocery budget over a period of months are all reporting that they are saving money every month using Thrive. This is because they don't have to buy as much food because they are not throwing away any food due to spoilage.
There was a study done a few years ago at the Univ of Utah. They studied 156 families of four. They found that any family of four that used Thrive Life in at least 50% of their daily cooking saved, on average, $150 per month!
