He definitely should at least report the nurse or person who gave him the boiling water. He doesn't need to sue. He can report to the medical board. Sounds like they are possibly overworking their staff.
@@FukaiKokoro yeah.. they might’ve assumed he was having tea with it, and that’s why he randomly wanted warm water. So they made it hot. And it was obviously an accident, and I’m sure it was sorted out. But he seems to have been really hurt.

Jerids been high a few times on the podcast, Ryland and Jerid seemed to be high in one episode, and Chris has smoked so them three would be perfect. Shane’s the only one I don’t think smokes but has most likely tried it. The episode would probably be three of them high and Shane just high on life as usual.

Ikr, I was prepared to skip some parts, like 💩 talk n All that. But it was good, even the skinless part, even tho I covered my eyes 👀 I still listened 😊
So a little real life story, turned into theory, about glitter- one time when I was in middle school I got a piece of glitter in my eye, like the chunky glitter, and I no more than blinked and it popped out of my eye… my eye itched SO BAD afterwards. I went to the eye doctor a few days later due to it causing severe redness and blurred vision. They said that the glitter did a number on my eye- completely scratched the cornea and that if the scratch would’ve been a little more to one side, I could’ve had permanent damage. Which leads me to believe that glitter is made of fiber glass. Fiber glass is SO itchy if it comes in contact with skin. I’m not saying that it’s 100% made of pure fiberglass, I’m saying a small percentage of the “ingredients” are of fiberglass 🧐
Sand heat up to the right degree also turns to glass… sand and glitter both have the reflective and scratchy feeling to them (with the right sized glitter at least) so this actually makes a lot of sense. Like pressed glitter or glitter before it’s ground up into smaller glittery pieces… something
I remember working with fiberglass and it getting on my clothes and skin. It would burn my skin and itch bad was horrible. I think you're onto something though makes sense🤔
Pretty sure it's tiny pieces of plastic. Some people eat it because in the bakery section it's sold as edible glitter, but it's not any different than real glitter so people are eating tiny pieces plastic.

Me and my boyfriend were genuinely discussing if big boys are bears then what can be for big girls? After a whole 30-45 min conversation we reached a conclusions, big boys are grizzlies and big girls are pandas! Love your podcast Shane!!! Me and my bf watched every single episode. We love how the conspiracies are conversation starters for us, we are deep into that. And I appreciate Chris finally giving chasers and bears couples confidence with our preferences! ❤❤❤

I definately need this one, for real. There's some huge f'n secret involving what one of the largest purchasers of glitter uses the glitter for. The glitter producers won't reveal what it is but have said people would be disappointed or surprised. I used to check into a Reddit thread periodically to see if anyone had found the answer but gave up after a few years when real life got real.
My husband is an airforce veteran and he says that the biggest buyer for glitter is the military. I loved this episode ❤

@@FukaiKokoro Reporting to the board often doesn’t go anywhere because they usually side with the doctors and nurses. So suing would be the only way to get damages. Plus, it makes the incident publicly known so other families can check on their relatives being treated there. Where’s there’s one incident, there’s usually others. And the medical board only looks at it as one incident and not a theme of quality of care. Whereas, a lawsuit will look into the entire staff and policies and talk to past patients to establish a pattern of quality of care or determine if it was an isolated incident.
Im a nurse and if he asked for a cup of warm water, the warm water spout that comes out of the faucets at the hospitals I’ve worked at are SO hot I always warn patients.. so I can see how this accidentally happened. Like suing? That’s so over the top.. I’m sure that nurse felt terrible 😢

The glitter conspiracy is in regards to the boating/marine industry. As you can imagine, massive boats would take loads of paint to cover damages from the waters and air. So instead of buying hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of paint, they buy glitter in large amounts and mix it with paint.
Yes everyone knows this. It’s not this they keep this quiet because it’s the cause for the huge rise in micro plastics in the oceans but they can’t say that after they banned a shitload of products but allowed the main culprit to carry on. They couldn’t ban it because there’s nothing they could easily replace it with. The food one is crazy. Definitely not what you would expect. It’s driving me crazy that I can’t remember exactly what it was. It’s nothing close to what you would expect. It’s not shiny or anything. It’s so obscure and such an everyday thing that it’s CRAZY. It’s not something you associate with being glittery.
Chris saying he was having deja vu about the glitter conversation caught me off guard because I had JUST said out loud that I was having deja vu about that conversation. I swear I remember you talking about it, that 2 companies only sell it and that it’s in something so surprising it would blow our minds. Me and Chris are clearly in the same time warp hahahah.

It’s crazy that Chris said he was experiencing Deja Vu Beto felt it about the entire episode. I had to stop several times first to make sure it was the newest & then to check your other videos. So much talked about in this video felt like Deja Vu!! Not just that I’ve heard about them before but the feeling I’ve watched this video before. Crazy!! I just wish we could have a small semi serious moment while talking about Chris’s dad 😞 I hope he feels supported. I lost a parent this year and I know how scared he must’ve been through all this. I’m so happy your dad is doing better Chris. It breaks my heart that the staff providing his care allowed him to get burned that way. Continued prayers for his fam❤
Humor is just how they ~all~ cope with this kind of thing. Chris has been friends with Shane for literal years, they all know Shane means well and tries to lift spirits with humor. Nothing wrong with that and Chris definitely feels supported as these are his best friends.😊
The hospital my Papa was in before he died let him fall twice. The second time he fractured his skull. They knew he was a risk for getting out of bed & falling, but still didn't monitor him properly. When he fell the second time he was lying on the floor for nearly a hour! It's really scary when a loved one is getting shitty care, but you have nowhere else to take them. My heart goes out to Chris & his family having to go through that.
