I really don't know if it's all that bad. CN still gets down to Cambridge plenty of times per week with good sized trains. Gillies lumber is going strong as ever. Hunt's Logistics became a customer only 10 years ago and they get cars from all over. Don't forget that KW manufacturing took a dive in the recession. Plus, the Fergus Spur is going to be purchased by Metrolinx in the near future for GO trains.

Sorry to hear about your cat. We had a cat who pass last, but lots of trains here to watch.

How many customers does CN serve on the Galt spur?

I believe Gillies lumber is the only one left on the Galt spur that I'm aware of. There is a wye if you continue to follow this train pass Hespeler Rd(hwy 24) Where they use it to run the locomotives to the back of the train. They do this to bring the train to the Fergus spur so the can shove back into Hunt's Logistics. It's the only way I've seen them use the tracks in Cambridge.
