@@MaritaKvamThanks! For New Year’s Eve, we usually spend it with our best friends (a couple that lives near us) - we do appetizers for dinner. 😋 On New Year’s Day, we take down all of the Christmas decorations and lights. 😢 It’s the saddest day of the year. 😭
That sounds nice! 😄 Oh, you do that already? It’s normal to take everything down on New Years Day over there? I think we will have it up a bit more, but maybe just one-two weeks more though. All the lights are so nice when it’s still so dark here 😅
Most people here take everything down by the first week in January. A lot of people I know have already done it. And the neighborhood associations usually require all of the outside Xmas lights to be gone by 7 January. If it were as dark here as in Norway, we’d probably be allowed to keep them up longer. 😉
