In this video I am going to tell you about how to extend usb cable. Normaly when we extend a usb cable it has different wire colors
That was difficult moment to attach wires with different colors. some cable come with standard colors like yellow, green, blue, and black.
But some manufecturer made cables with other colors like orange, red, brown etc. In this case usb extension becomes hard to do. color code is
a way to attach these wires for usb expansion.

Yo does anyone have one of those rock candy USB receiver or a ps3 USB receiver I have 3 controllers
1Blue Rock Candy, 1 Blue Sony Dual Shock Six Axis, & 1 Black Sony Dual Shock Six Axis. All 3 wireless, but no USB receiver. I love that Blue Super Slim PS3 btw. Or can I use a wall plug-in by cutting it & cutting an USB cord then connecting them to make a PS3 wireless USB cord for the two Sony? Also can I do same with a mouse or keyboard... Knowledge is the key and I'd love the teaching I could simply buy the receiver I'd like to play my first PS3 and technical repair and learning is always good. I repaired the PS3 it was found by an uncle and claimed sure didn't work. Thanks for your video 👍

Esmond Goh White nd Green are the standard colors for carrying data. pink or red is for +5 volts and Blue or Black for Ground wire means -5 volts
why some tutorials says that is white is D+ and green is D-??

Can someone help me with color coding? i am trying to repair a mouse by creating a whole new USB cable for it , my main concern is that the JST 2.0 5 Pin connector i found selling (blue black brown red gray) isn't the same color scheme as the original mouse one (shield black white green red) , i would like to know if the color difference matters or if it is just for coverage purposes and what actually matters is wich one i attach to wich part of the USB Type A side.

Pin #1 = +5 volts (Red)
Pin #2 = DATA- (Green)
Pin #3 = DATA+ (White)
Pin #4 = Ground (Black)
Ps/2 pins. stařs from lower half to clockwise
Pin #1 = Data
Pin #3 = Ground
Pin #4 = +5 VDC
Pin #5= Clock
Pin #2, #6 = No Connection

Just cut a mirco usb and got only 2 wires, a red(positive) and a white. I assume the white is the negative right?
yes White is ground wire means negative
