I have a question with the inverse parabola (x=2y²). When you started on functions you said a graph that has 2 y values for 1 x value doesn't count as a function, so then how does this one work? Or inverses

An inverse of the parabola is not a function for that reason

The don’t intersect all the time. It’s possible to have them not intersecting
