On the second down strum, you don't need to hit every string. Just 2-3 strings on the second down strum would sound nice.

@@iscreamfitness sorry about that. I try to say an easy strumming pattern to follow, but I instinctively strum a pattern that comes from the heart which is hard to suppress.

I'm learning this song but urgh I can't do the strumming. It seems like the sound of my strumming is way too far from the vid! 😭
Try playing the strumming pattern without the chords first until you get the pattern comfortably. Next, do that with the chords. Keep practicing :)
Your strumming seems to be different then the strumming pattern you say you play.
Oh? I recall mentioning the different ways to strum it in the video (not at the beginning where I teach the general strumming).
You can tell you’re a learner,the way you put your finger on the neck , that songs intro is plucking not strumming
