holy crap that's how you do it i honestly thought u can just pull it out or something , alot of effort for such a small piece, damn mercedes why so hard
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ Hello .. good video this happend to me but its on the middle console down of the navigation i have a mercedes w204 from 2008 could you help and make a video.. please
Outstanding piece of applied workmanship. Kudos and thanks from 🇲🇽. (I own a C280 in almost mint condition. But the original owner seems to have enjoyed life a bit too much on the passenger front seat, having another person breaking all the louvers in front) 😝
Hey Mikeyz, my w204 hazard light switch is faulty, I am getting the hazard/esp switch from ebay but would like your opinion whether it can be done with special tools.
whats the issue?? your cant press your hazard button'?>? or u press it and it doesn't flash? most cases its just a faulty switch so u simply replace the switch button, and it will work as per usual ..hope this helps u and u get it done buddy
Very informative. Thanks for posting this content. How do you remove the round, top air vent? Wanted to replace mine but I don’t know how to undo it. Thanks!
Great video buddy. I have a 2011 E550 with one rear center console horizontal luver broke. Should be easy to get out. The question is does MB sell just one luver or where can I buy just one?
thanks... I'm not sure if they sell just a single luvre however u can buy the entire vent relatively cheap now off ebay and aliexpress .. unless u want genuine that's different.. I got aftermeket and it's fine u can't tell at all

hi friend.. so u need to search via ur make and model .. I only listed the w204 ones for front and rear ... for older model w203 u need to search for w204 air vent tab
for the 2005 there are abit different I think .. I know it's looks the same but mine in the w203 are abit rounder... I'm sure they fit the same way but don't quote me on that
After trying to put mine back together for a while I came across this video. The issue I am having is the louvers seem to be different lengths, causing more or less pressure on the metal bracket and then the 3 louvers (top bottom middle) just fall out when it is back together because the other two are pushing so hard on the bracket that it pulls them out of the hole the belong in. Any help is appreciated.
I also did not get the luxury of taking mine apart, when I removed the vent to remove the radio the louvers fell out of position because I was a bit rough

Hey man thank you so much for this tutorial, those stick on vent covers gotta be easier than vinyl wrap 🤣 however I'm going to attempt the vinyl 🥺 I noticed you managed to take off the cover for the vent prior to dismantling the inside. Can you remember or do you know if the cover comes off for the center vents as well?? It would make it easier to wrap. Chrz from Wales
I tried reistalling the vent tabs from the middle vent from outside and i can tell you its the worst thing i ever tried, after many attempts i gave up and just removed the whole vent, it still was hard but better than from outside for sure
@@youngmiles4184 I see you never got an answer to your question, Does MB just see one luver? I have one broke on my rear AC, not a big deal but things like that bother me
If anyone knows once the pieces have disappeared into the void of the vent, are they hard to get out? As in fall a long way or is there something to stop them within finger length?
I'm surprised I can't hear them rattling around when the fans on tbh, I know at least 5 pieces have fallen in. I'll have a go at removing one like you have at some point.. Do you go to mercedes for parts like this?
Thanks Mikey ,I'll try soon. I changed a near side _ side light yesterday , so awkward getting the old one out , the hardest is the bulb next to it. Drivers side is a cinch (almost) Have a good day
lol true dat..although if u are pretty good mechanically and with tools if u weigh out the cost and labour ..let's see... few hours or buy another w204 which will cost about 5k usd is that right? here in Australia it's about 8k to 10k depending on model... so literally speaking ..might be good idea to do yourself ..gain some knowledge at the same time and k prive your skills set ..that's just me .. Do you probably know where the rear air vent fan (A2048300008) is located? Is there a easy way to take it out? Thanx in advance.
um not sure ... u mean the vent behind the centre console
