I see him as our equivalent to Moussa Dembele from those great Poch teams. Strong, physical. Never loses the ball. Dembele was more silky, but Kulu adds more in the final third. Not a like for like comparison, but man, when he has the ball at his feet and he is bullying defenders, it reminds me so much of Dembele. And he definitely deserves to be in the PL starting XI at this point of the season.
That's a great comparison as Moussa Dembele was one of the best players ever at Spurs. Dejan Kulusevski is fabulous and now he's been given the freedom in midfield he's without doubt Spurs most influential player.
@@paulnewton3059 I feel comparing anyone to Dembele is almost sacrilege, but there are elements to Kulu's game that are reminiscent. Kulu isn't on Dembele's level yet, but he is young and seems to growing from strength to strength. I think we are lucky to have him.
@@PaulBean-q3o It's odd but when I mention great Spurs players of the past Dembele is a name that's rarely brought up. I can't find out how many games he was involved in for Spurs or why he was only played sporadically, do you know? Have you seen the interviews when the Spurs players are questioned as to who was the best player in the Spurs squad at the time and every player named Dembele?
@@neilstanley5120 as I stated, I think he isn't to that level yet. Having said that, Kulu provides more in the final 3rd. It is the way they use their physicality in the midfield that reminds me of each other.
Please City get this guy and dominate Champions m League again. he’s perfect for Haaland. He is generational talent and is so underrated i can’t believe clubs aren’t fighting over him by now.
I think over all he is, but it is fading right now because Spurs are wearing him out. The club is a devourer of men, and the manager plays such a foolish way with the team because he hasn't the mind to do anything different that it stresses the players and gets them injured. Then theres the fans who won't accept a normal manager.. Espirito Santo out, Morinho out, Conte out.. the fanbase is against its own club
We actually agreed to 35m before the 18month loan then went back to Juventus and said he’s too expensive and we ended up paying 30m spread over 6 years. So 5m per season 😂

He is nowhere near Dembele😂

Excellent edit. Great player - we Spurs fans are lucky to have him
On current form , yes, absolutely. Makes me laugh how often they try to foul him and still can't stop him !
Great edit bro!
ATM I don't think anyone else is better
