So I have a 4y motor also an I did the wires cap plugs an rotor. But im still having a misfire just sounds like its popping when I put it in drive or reverse an dies out eventually. Any thoughts? Maybe bad distributor?
Thanks for watching! I don’t know what fuel system your unit has but there could be a fuel delivery issue. If you lightly spray some starter fluid while running and it smooths out you have a fuel issue. If you are still concerned about getting good spark I would get a spark tester and check each cylinder. You can get one at harbor freight for like 10 bucks. If you have one weak cylinder you can find it that way or even use a thermal imager to find out if you have one bad cylinder. A distributor issue would be across all cylinders. I would definitely look for a problem cylinder or fuel delivery issue first before condemning the distributor. 🍻
@@magnoliamobileservice4534 thank you ill check the propane regulator.. it starts up an runs fine for awhile then it starts acting like it wants to die out when accelerating
