- Welcome to RoboCop Rogue City. I had no plans on playing this game, but after MW3 left a bad impression I went looking for something new. This game has surprised me a lot. It doesn't take itself very seriously and you can see that a lot of the story elements are deliberately cheesy. The whole thing works really well & I've had a lot of fun so far. Okay, after seeing this, the studio behind this really needs to make a Judge Dredd game.

Sometimes all a game needs is a satisfying combat system in a cool setting. Loved this game and will be replaying it often. Great stress reliever. It might not be revolutionary but it's a 10/10 in my book because it focuses on being fun and that's what matters at the end of the day.

Well said. The game doesn't break records in terms of originality and creativity, but, it doesn't need to. Authenticity, setting and a decent gameplay is all it needs.
The way bullets and explosive impact human's flesh is so satisfy. This is something so simple yet many FPS dev nowadays failed to achieve.

This game really makes you FEEL like robocop
These dev need a redemption arc by remaking their own Rambo game with this quality.
Between this and Terminator: Resistance, they've already redeemed themselves.

RoboCop Rogue City gives me the arcade vibes of the yesteryears when games were simple. Accentuated of course with my love for the RoboCop franchise. Sadly though it's not meant for everyone so get it only if you know what to expect from everything RoboCop

I won't argue that it was a no-holds-barred adrenaline fuelled thrill-ride, but there's no way that you could perpetrate that amount of carnage and mayhem and not incur a considerable amount of paperwork.

If you play this game, and i highly recommend you do, DON'T play it on the EASY or NORMAL settings, if you want to get the most from this game HARD or EXTREME is the way to go.
This are the best bikers enemies against walking character in games.

It's slowly gaining a reputation as an awesome game, especially if you are a fan of the first two Robocop movies. They did them justice to a ridiculous degree, when they could have been lazy with it.

Sadly there is no aftermath, bodies disappears etc. They could make it stay i mean these are small map sections just like Deus Ex….

Graphics are really good, but animations kinda suck!!
Not being 3rd person is really what messed this game up.
I like how you actually eat bullets in this and how it actually feels like you're mostly made out of metal. Especially with how slow the movement is. But you don't need to be fast if you're a walking tank. Literally. This game is everything a Robocop fan can ask for🤘🏼🤌🏼🔥
Hopefully somebody will make a mod for the game on pc that adds varying amounts of visible sparks when bullets hit you based on the bullet caliber.
@@bigjack3722 that would be really awesome. Though, it would have to be a large caliber to make sparks hitting his armor. They did have some larger caliber guns in the movies. I'm sure there are some in the game eventually. I don't think many street level enemies would carry them. Maybe leaders of street gangs. But not average members. Detroit is even worse off in the Robocop universe than it is in real life. Doubt many average people could afford even a decent handgun. Probably not many around to steal either.
@marquislexil Devs could add new large calibers through a dlc, maybe some high tech criminal organization from outside Detroit infiltrates the city and there are dynamic events added to the game where you may encounter random weapon deals or meetings taking place and if you fail to stop them then enemies in the game temporarily get upgraded with new weapons or armor.Could sort of be a system similar to metal gear solid v's enemy upgrade system but different.
@@bigjack3722 I think another way it could be implemented is in a dlc where the cops turn on you. Or save it for a sequel. Idk maybe it's already something in the end game of this one. I do know if they are staying true to the franchise that eventually he will have trouble with someone in the cities upper echelon of society. Probably a CEO or politician. Or both.
There are already combat mercs with high tech weaponry in the game
2:30 I honestly don't know how I feel about the fact that the player can just pick up random guns and start using them. Not that RoboCop shouldn't be able to use whatever firearms he wants but he usually just sticks to his pistol. I mean it's the only gun he REALLY needs. Idk maybe that's just me
He does use other guns when he needs to in the movies. He's a resourceful robot.
