Unboxing: 2023 Hot Wheels 55th Anniversary Pearl & Chrome Series - Black & Yellow set with VW T1 GTR

In this video I unbox the 2023 ‪@HotWheels‬ 55th anniversary Pearl and Chrome six car set. For year 55, Hot Wheels has went with a flat black and gold color scheme and put some real bangers in this set. All six cars are licensed castings and feature bold red and yellow paint schemes with gold accents and wheels.

I have the Nova. I like the car but it has QC issues. Paint chipped off on one door panel and two of the teeth in front grill are discolored; 2 black dots in that gold grill. Doesn't look too hot

These are usually sold at most major retailers (in the US at least) like Wal-Mart or Kroger.

Saying because the vw has a number makes not a chase dosnt make sense

True Chase cars aren’t part of the normal numbering system - that’s why the black Car Culture chases are all numbered 0/5. A car that’s just a part of the regular set is numbered as usual, so the VW is just a short packed car rather than a chase vehicle. Hopefully that makes sense.
