Just ticked over 5000 miles In my M135i, it noticeably changed in character at that mileage, feels better in every way strangely, more responsive etc, and the exhaust note has changed for the better too!
Hey good video, can I suggest when giving interior tours you do it from the driver perspective? I’m about to buy one of these cars and am not interested what a passenger sees.
I am ordering the M135 next week and have decided on everything apart from the Trim I torn between Boston or Berlin. I might be wrong but I thought the Berlin Trim was the darker of the two???
Berlin is darker and has different patterns. I personally chose Boston because the plastic color is lighter and matches well with the lighter parts of the steering wheel.
The backbox being so low is an ///M thing. The bad itself acts as part of the airflow package on the Mcars, which is why you end up being able to see it. I assume it’s the same for this.
I have my eye on an identical car exactly the same colour and spec without being too nosey I'm wondering if that spec means it's over £40,000 new as this one I'm looking at has a couple of thousand miles on it on a 70 plate, just wondering if it's going to cost £475 a year road tax. I suppose I should just E mail the dealer but the last time I tried that I got bombarded with phone calls and E mails, thanks in advance. Look forward to more content on this car as I won't be buying it till I can actually visit the dealer and sit in it and inspect it up close mid April I reckon. Can you sync the air con as I couldn't see any button to do that.
Hi Craig, so this one is a smidge under £40,000 new 👍🏻 There will be plenty of content coming with it, however before then I will say that I am loving the car! It is mega! Yes you can sync the air con but there is no button for it, instead it has to be synced through the centre screen 👍🏻
@@mattsmartcars That's good to know, can't wait to test drive one. I could just have it delivered to my house but really wanted to try it out first, if it's half as good as you say it is I reckon I will go for it, good to know that it comes in at under the 40k surprised me what with full leather and the Harmon Kardon and 19 inch wheels.
Hopefully mine is arriving in a couple of weeks. Same colour and spec apart from the leather seats decided to go for the Alcantara. What tyres have you got on? Some forums have said the tyres don't last long around 8,000 miles. Will be interesting to see how long your tyres last for the time that you have it. Good vid!
Nice 👍🏻 great colour when it is clean, I will have to double check but I think they are Bridgestone, I tend to only have them for around 8000 miles so will be very interesting to see how they last, I will keep you posted. Thank you for watching 👍🏻
Totally agree! I ran an M140i 2 years ago and it was great! Although the new M135i is pretty much better in every area I feel it really lacks with the sound.
I'm dead set on making this my next motor at end of the year but dunno wether to get the standard or upgrade to tech/comfort/pro packs etc.. Please tell me you get privacy glass on the standard
Hi James, yes I would say the car is fine without any packs however if you were to go for a pack the only one that is a must would be the M135i plus pack.
I think the new 1 series look far better than the older shape. Not to mention the interior is light years ahead

i guess Im kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good place to watch new tv shows online ?
@Joel Thiago I would suggest flixzone. Just search on google for it :)
@Malcolm Luca Definitely, been watching on flixzone for since march myself :D
@Malcolm Luca thanks, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I really appreciate it!!
@Joel Thiago you are welcome xD
Got my one last week in white. Love it. Traded my 335d in and was sad to see that go but the tech has come on so much in these.
Do you find it quicker ?
@@bluesboy11111 feels quicker probably because it's smaller but not really opened it up yet as running in.

18’s with Adaptive ride, pan roof, comfort pack & HK sound.
Me I want 19s tech and pro with pan roof in black with magma interior, expensive deals are the issue
Great 1st video Matt, looking forward to plenty more to come.
Thank you buddy 👍🏻
I have my 135i f 40 in stormbay Grey Black edition and i love it
Got mine latst year and still love it till this day 😉
Nice 👌 just waiting for delivery date for mine, storm bay grey. My 340i is Sapphire Black way too much work keeping it clean.
Storm bay is a great choice 👌🏼 and I totally agree! Black is a nightmare to keep clean! Mine is filthy already and I have only had it a week.

Hi, just got this car as a temporary hire car and wondering whether there is reverse cameras? Can't seem to see the display in the settings

It is to meet all the emissions targets in the UK, I'm sure they will have integrated some aero into it but it's primarily there to reduce emissions.
I'm looking to buy one - Would you choose Black or Blue?
Great car!
Nice start 👍

What are the differences between a 2021 and 2020 M135i xdrive?
Not sure about the wheels for me . I think the 19 552 alloys look a lot better than these 557.
Pick mine up next Friday. I've also got the 19s with the Bridgestone tyres. What are those like? Have they been good for you?
Hi Danny, the 19s have been very good to me, I think the car rides well enough on the 19s.

Nice one. I collected my 21 plate on Monday having had a 140. So far so good, the only disappointment is the engine note...
Totally agree! I ran an M140i 2 years ago and it was great! Although the new M135i is pretty much better in every area I feel it really lacks with the sound.
Remus race helps with that exhaust note, but it’s still missing with the overrun burble.
Good video. How do you get out of a full tank? I only get 295miles out of minds and I put in tesco normal petrol?
I get around the 300 miles on average 👍🏻
I'm dead set on making this my next motor at end of the year but dunno wether to get the standard or upgrade to tech/comfort/pro packs etc.. Please tell me you get privacy glass on the standard
almost certain privacy glass is standard on these, it is on the 128ti
I’m in the process of buying one with the pro and the tech pack
Picking up our m135 this weekend. Is there an official run in period for these? I was careful for 1200 miles in the m140.
Nothing official on them however they definitely loosen up after 1200-1500 miles.
BMW recommend 1200 miles and keeping it below 4000rpm. Just picked up mine but only done 300 miles, but its very tight at the mo
Hi matt going to lease this car is this car fine with out packs as you loose money on them ?
Hi James, yes I would say the car is fine without any packs however if you were to go for a pack the only one that is a must would be the M135i plus pack.
Start 1:10 if you don't want to hear about this guys life
this or the new Golf R?
Or cupra or i30N or S3 or A35 or...they are all same FWDs options. Can go where you get best offer for your old car. They are all the same category.
Wawwe😊
5 doors Matt
Why sit on a car bonnet and ruin the paint work ??😮
