The Alliance Alive could easily be the best Nintendo 3DS RPG ever made. It faces stiff competition but it's wonderfully crafted with the only issues a mere niggle that barely ruffles the perfection.

Got the launch day edition and it's great!
Just finished the game today, totally love it. Just letting you all know, there is an extra ending if you beat the boss in Ch 2. But almost impossible in the first playthrough.
It's on the switch now and it's amazing! I had it on my wish list for a while and so glad to finally have it.

It's too bad that this game will be slept on because of the 3ds platform and lack of marketing in the west because it is an extremely well executed jrpg that greatly subverted my expectations. I love the gameplay and the world where I feel the more hyped Ni No Kuni 2 let me down a bit

Greatly looking forward to playing this on my long plane ride soon. It totally should have been on the Switch though. I guess the development of the game started before the switch was a thing. Here's to hoping that Furyu will do a new rpg project for the switch.

Nice review! I need to pick this game up. Also, the whole no feet trend in games bothers me too.
Would you say that this or Radiant History Perfect Chronology is more akin to FFIX?
Just got it and so far I'm liking it. My issue would be the talent points. I feel that they could've done better like using points to increase your strength or intelligence
The point of the talent system is to accelerate the characters’ growth, not influence their strength directly. You’re supposed to build up your party around their established stats and have them grow stronger by making the most out of whatever passives you chose for them.

well suposedly the nintendo switch will put all the zelda games on there(like twilight princess) so maybe if this game gets popular enough maybe it could be put on the switch?

I commented before and it didn't show up I don't think. It basically said I wan really looking forward to this game, but I won't be getting it due to lack of a physical release in Europe.
I checked the auto-moderator and nothing from you was held up in there, not sure why it didn't show up :/
But yeah, the lack of a physical in EU did suck, the Launch Edition in the US was so pretty too :(
Jay RPG Strange. I was speaking about the launch edition as well haha. I hate that we also miss out on then in EU. I wanted the Radiant Historia one so badly (because I love that game) and all we get is the artbox downsized to fix in the game case.
I really don't understand why we don't get the same edition with the cool box. I'm hoping that eventually somebody will be selling a bundle of Atlus launch editions online and I'll just pick them up and resell the US release on haha. Wishful thinking though

Wanna get this game but was curious if the Dev learned their lessons from Legend of Legacy. I really enjoyed that game for about 7 hours then just kinda lost interest
Looks like a good game, although I'm a little tired of turn-based combat systems in general. I liked the one in Monster Hunter Stories because it was interesting playing off what your monstie planned to do, managing kinship, and trying to learn/counter enemy attack patterns, but this one looks a lot more standard.
I feel like feet should be required for models lol
Not really a fan of the character designs/art tbh
I'm still playing this. I have to disagree, big time. This is an OK JRPG. Not quite mediocre, but just OK. Music has no personality, a lot of interactions are gimmicky, some level designs are very bad.
