Hi this is my first attempt to paint...and you are my first teacher so thanks for teaching me step by step painting....want to show you how my painting turned out...but don't know how to post it here. Thank you God bless your.
Thank you Tina. God bless you too. Please send me a photo of the painting you created to cadyellowcreations@gmail.com .... it would be a genuine pleasure to receive it ... much love ❤
Hello Cad Yellow. How are you doing? Do you have more city scape acrylic paintings? I love them so mutch wen you paint them👋🏾🖐🏾🖐🏾😁👏🏾😍👋🏾 I love reading as mutch as i love painting
Merhaba arkadaşım, zemindeki ıslaklık efekti iki şeyin sonucudur: Birincisi, binaların şekillerini ilk çizdiğimde, onları yansımalar gibi yapmak için tuvalin alt kısmına kadar uzattım. İki - Palet bıçağını kullanarak bu yansımaların üzerine su efektlerini uygulayarak zeminin ıslak görünmesini sağladım. Umarım bu açıklığa kavuşturur. Videoyu izlediğiniz ve yorumlarınız için çok teşekkürler ❤
There are different types of cityscape paintings, but the two main ones are (1) street view and (2) the view from across a water body (a creek or a river). My painting is a street view on a rainy day. In street views, the best approach is to have the buildings on either side of the road to converge in the middle. And the middle is often the far end of the street, and is the brightest part of the painting. In the view from across water, the best approach is to have the base of the buildings in a straight line (about 1/3rd the canvas height from the bottom edge), and then have reflections in the water. I would suggest start with a greyscale painting before moving onto more colourful studies. This way, you don't have to worry much about the colour combinations at first. Rather you could focus on the angles, perspectives and your overall skill, and then move onto colour. Now, you could do a complete abstract style painting (like the one I did, which took me about 50 minutes), or go for a detailed painting. Detailed cityscape painting could take a few hours. Best tools are either a palette knife, or a square brush. This way you could get the straight edged and right angles. Use finer brushes for details. Hope this helps :)
Hello Cad Yellow. This helps me so mutch. Thanks allot👋🏾😁😊👍🏽 i will do it in black and white first like you recommended 👍🏽😊😁👋🏾 have a wonderfull day or evening. Thanks again for the tip👋🏾😁😊👍🏽
Love this and would like to try and paint something similar. I was wondering what you used to paint the vertical lines on the buildings ... the umbrella makes the painting even more poignant... 🌂
Thank you so much for teaching us how to paint. Can you please let me know what is the name of the pen you used for the classes building? Thank you so much for your time.
OMG you,res looks way better than mine😭 its hard painting whit a pallet knife for the first time. I,ve made 2 misakes wen replacating this painting. I let the paint dry and i rinsed my pallet knife underneat hot water😅 life and learn rightt😊😁🖐🏾👍🏾👏🏾

Tuvale sürdüğünüz cessomu palet bıçağıyla su efekti verdiniz ilk sürdüğünüz akrilik veya yağlı boya değil gibi çünkü yerdeki ıslaklık nasıl oluşuyor

Hey Trish, thanks for your lovely feedback. I used a fine line acrylic pen (white) for the vertical lines. Hope that helps :)
Can i use modelling paste to make water or waves?
Yes you can! The artwork will have a 3D effect that way :)
Hello Cad Yellow realy? I dind know modelling paste did that. Now i am doublet exided about making an cityscape painting 😁👋🏾👍🏾🖐🏾😊 thanks Cad Yellow

Hey Leslie, thank you for your comment. I used a Uni-ball white gel pen for the lines. Hope this helps :)
