What is being compared is the quicksilver flooring fitted the the trailer on the left allowing the load to slide out of the body without the body reaching full height thus keeping the centre of gravity lower. ( less chance of the trailer falling over)
Not sure if you're serious or joking but for those who don't know, some tipper trailers are equipped with a pneumatic vibrator. They're used for making the floor of the tipper body vibrate to hopefully shake the load loose and reduce the friction holding the load from sliding down. When the truck floor is exposed they make an extremely load racket. Workplace health and safety rules prohibit fooling around and practical jokes these days. When I was doing this kind of work over twenty years ago safety was not as strict in most places as it is today. Apart from their intended use, it was also great fun sometimes to hit the air valve briefly once or twice when an unexpecting pedestrian is walking past that part of the truck. It's not something the driver will do too often or it wouldn't be as much of a surprise. It was a trick reserved for somebody who really deserved it, like somebody who has done some kind of practical joke on the driver and needs to be paid back. It's a terrible trick from the victim's point of view though and quite dangerous, it could give somebody a heart attack. Probably the only time I ever played that trick on anybody was one day in a gravel pit when I was in a lineup for the loader. My truck was just at the front of the lineup when smoko time came and the loader operator shut down for smoko, (morning coffee break if you;'re not Australian). The other thing we used to do which would probably not be allowed now was to sit under the shade of the trucks to have smoko. No other facilities were provided back in those days. Somebody particularly deserving came and settled under my truck while I was still in the cab making my coffee. He was a guy with a big bushy mono-brow like Yosemite Sam. You should have seen his eyes open wide and his eyebrows nearly pop off his forehead when I hit the vibrator! I still chuckle about that when I remember it to this day!
I agree with you Darian. Demonstration or otherwise, there should be no compromise to safety. The are many ways for this comparison to have been done, aside from having both tippers in such close proximity to each other.
Bed liners the one on the left has a liner but the one on the right does not whitch has the bed up all the way but the one on the left only has is at like 5 stages
Only if ur surrounded by ppl who don't know what they're doing Doing local work here in Chicago we all dump side by side if we don't know a truck then we will wait.
This wasn't comparing trailer flooring; it was comparing driver technique. The one on the left opened the tailgate before beginning to dump. The one on the right opened the tailgate beyond halfway into the dump. I think they were hoping for the one on the right to begin to sway in the wind, which can occur when all the weight is still in the nose of the trailer, to demonstrate the hazards of operating in that manner. If these trucks were on a slight sideways grade angle, the one on the right would have tipped over. Not a very good safety video because it actually showed no hazard. 🤣 This comment was made by me, over 40yrs of experience operating a dump truck in the U.S.

Hardox mate. This is Australia
🎂
I think the one on the right didn't unload because the tailgate wouldn't open.😢
thats what i thought @lloydsplace101
A good driver who knows their truck /body and the material being carted can compensate for any situation.
best be greasing that tailgate
GOOD GRIEF !!! You guys ever hear of "GREASE"!!!!!

@@made-in-the80s haha not real operator is he ?
@@made-in-the80s I didn't even bother. I knew straight away Lol
So much for safety 2 tippers side by side tipping at same time
"This demonstration was done for comparison purposes under strict supervision"
They needed you there to supervise them mate.
I agree with you Darian.

There….
👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
One on left in my opinion is the safest.. the load is already out when tub is in full height
Love my fast floor
What a comparison 🙄
No narration, no explanation, what are we comparing here? How squeaky the one truck is?
tailgate didnt open fast enough on the right
Where is that adelaide🤔
Safety would not be dumping right next to one another.
so what is being compared?
Bed liners the one on the left has a liner but the one on the right does not whitch has the bed up all the way but the one on the left only has is at like 5 stages
No big deal there
Not aloud to tip side by side, Not a good idea, What if one tips over 🤔

@@leannefgfreese468 What?
Then your vagina will get hurt, it's a flat ground demo don't be a pussy, what are you going to do tell the safety officer?
It had better tip away from the other one !
If one tips over get greasey gun fast quick AZ yo not waste any time
O BRAÇÃO ficou parado até o material calçar o restante da carga! Não adianta nem revestir nada!😁😁😁😁😁

Do as I say not as I do never tip beside another trailer very basic rule
Another Idiot that didn't read the Disclaimer at the start of the Video .
That trailer is noisy
What happened was the let guy let the pins go once he was all the way up but the other guy let the tailgate pin set go. Straight away
You have no idea

40 years experience and you still don't know what you are talking about. 🤣😂🤣 Comparison had nothing whatsoever to do with driver technique.
@@AusMiner What was it comparing genuis. Just like the video, you don't offer any commentary other than giggling like a little girl.
If one happens to tip over, just wrecked 2 rigs. Just saying. My boss seen that y'all been fired...
I don't understand this. I watched numerous times
